With the layoffs I know a lot of senior women trying, applying and being rejected from roles. It's hard to believe there isn't still a stigma.

Not to be rude and I know RPS used to but you don't have a single woman on staff currently. I think it's about considering diversity when hiring also.

The only people who conflate one woman's work with all women in the same field are misogynists, so I don't really need to waste breath on it.

I don't know that I agree with this. Anita was not a games journalist but a content creator. I don't know that people conflate Anita with website writing and reviews.

Yea it's like no one respects the Tomeki Memorial spin offs.

Why am I in this skeet?

I think this speaks to an issue in the industry where the majority of outlets are run by white guys who are in turn mates with white guys. When it comes to reviews then many are given to their mates first. If you look at most outlets you'll rarely see women above the contributor level.

Honestly a classic of the genre

I think it was like "Hey wuu2?"

A fun fact about me is that when I was on the dating apps (a cringer time) one of the only things my bio said was "loves the PS Vita" and about 90% of messages from dudes started with how crap it is. Funny world.

How else will they develop the core competencies of the future.

Oh for real it's a giant fuck you and I love that about it.

I think 0 is more fun when you know the characters. There is a lot of talk out there about "which is the best to start with" and there's not really a wrong answer. 2 is better than 1, but it might be nice to start with 1 just to get more context. I started with 5 lol, if you love it you just love it

I've played it before but obviously there are changes for Switch 2. That scene where they introduce Majima is still such a work of art.

I read so much of this and can't believe that no one mentioned the Metal Gear Solid series. It's one of the main themes of the first and second games.

But where's my thorn?

These days protectors are hard so you don't get bubbles but yea you do have to be careful with dust. I drop stuff A LOT so I have a screen protector on everything. I can't tell you how much money it's saved me over having to buy like 4 phones in a year.

Interested in why you're anti-screen protector

It's like they haven't even watched your promotional dances smh

This is exactly what I came to the comments for. Thanks.

Such excellent games though great choices.

I bought one of those mini game gears to play Sonic and I think that's when I went "okay we've gone too far"

I'm 175cm (5'9") so I have an average hand span I think. One of my main issues is that I'm a gamer so I have negative arm muscles. The switch 2 weighs more than half a kilo and I just can't hold it up for that long.

Yea I think it comes down to two types of console being given the same name

Sure sure. Again it's about me. As someone who loves playing VNs on the go the Vita is literally perfect. The Steam Deck and even Switch Lite do not compare in terms of battery for the same games.
comment in response to post
Maybe not docked but is it plugged into the mains? I have the original deck and I get about 45 mins even playing 2D games. The fan is also loud and inefficient.

So this is an interesting point but as I say it's two different purposes but we have one term for it: things with a screen, and things you can take on the road reasonably. The big manufacturers are eschewing the latter for the former. Which again is fine. It's not all about me. I just miss smaller.
