No negotiating with terrorists. Election sites would be next. Fuck that.

So sane

Aggressively stupid and brain dead has been the GOP calling card for years. Most of it is resentment of the fact they are deeply stupid people (and they know it) whose parents also thought they were fucking useless and stupid and didn’t love them despite this.

Fuck everyone that believed him and voted for him

He was also not at all up to the task of implementing ‘Zeitenwende’. Germany as a whole society wasn’t either given how much it had let the Bundeswehr attrit in the past two decades as everyone assumed large conventional wars in Europe were no longer a possibility and Germany wanted Russian trade.

There is a subtle, strategically ambiguous way to announce it & on the whole I don’t criticize Scholz too much for how his government handled the announcements of arms. Because pressure is needed on some allies too. What bothered me more was his constant obsessive fear of “escalation”, eg Leopards
comment in response to post
It was so Scholz could claim credit when pressure was put on him. Germany has given a lot, certainly much more than it has been given credit for. But it was always too late with Scholz and 🇷🇺nuclear bluffs worked on him every time.

Miller can actively look into whatever his deranged brain wants but doesn’t make it reality, much less any kind of law. Just a troll from a run of the mill psychopath.

Probably going to require (somehow, some way) giving Hungary the boot. At some point, enough is enough of the ‘tyranny by the minority’ when it comes to Orbàn
comment in response to post
Sorry No fucking way. I can’t think of a more useless and counterproductive approach to this huge problem. Their beliefs create way too much actual harm

His brain is broken beyond all normal standards. It just is and it’s not really debatable

Zoom in on the eyes and you it’s clear there’s just a dark, dead soul in there. Just an empty carcass of roadkill.

☝🏻 yes correct

Just so fucking tired of all the damage the truly stupidest among us are doing.

Exactly, he’s only been saying and telegraphing his aims for 20 years!! He’s not a chess player either, he’s a gambler and a common thug. The Germans should recognize him as a newer version and blend of Göring and Hitler. Why more don’t especially Neitz is beyond me.

Europe must win the rearmament race against Russia, but I would be skeptical of drawing conclusions from Zapad. More important in the here and now is strengthening internal security against Russian sabotage, developing air defense and deep strike capabilities and increasing military manpower.

Days like this, articles like this, seem to portend that the USA and tens of millions of its people do not have much time left, as events like this would inevitably lead to civil war. How else could this possibly end? Under what circumstance would the presently constituted Congress remove Trump?
comment in response to post
Idk, I think you saw on Jan 6 there are a lot of brainwashed people in this country, and more than a few would take to violence.

Negotiating table? You’re fucking high, dude.

No one is advocating for direct conflict. How about can we start with not being total pussies a la “don’t hurt me, Daddy Vlad” which is what’s happening now. You’re dealing with a new Hitler in Putin. Fascist with territorial, genocidal intent.
comment in response to post
It is only about creating chaos and then using a position of power to exert leverage over people where they come bat in hand to him and are forced to accept certain quid pro quos. Power over people, plain and simple.

Holy fuck this explains so much

“MAGA” will die with Trump. I know there are lots of people that do support him, but there are more who don’t. My point was that there’s nothing inevitable or pre-ordained that says MAGA shall rule for decades. But only if people stop caving needlessly because they think they have too much to lose.
comment in response to post
A good sign for sure, but Americans would do well to remind themselves that: a.) Trump is a 78 year old man b.) there are opposition parties one can join and vote for in elections. Treating this as if there’s some Thousand Year Reich inevitability to this is really really shortsighted and weak.

The money is in Belgium. And so much has changed (obviously!) in such a short time. the big EU players are done with letting 🇭🇺 continue to fuck around and throw a wrench in things. They’re not going to let the funds go back to RU, and will find a way to keep them frozen if not seized before then.

It’s all about about him and his moment to moment psychological needs. Every day it’s still stunning to realize how many people voted for this deeply broken man-child.

What a fucking clownshoe joke Hegseth is. He’s a DEI hire who has no business carrying on this capacity. Never should’ve been there in the first place but drunk rapists who take orders from Putin need jobs too I guess.

WTF does “cultural Marxism” mean? If anything, what *they* are doing is straight out of Mao or Stalin’s playbook, where history and people’s stores are erased because it must only be about some collective ideology and no individual can ever exist. The military works a certain way but not like this
comment in response to post
The topic of how or whether to label Trump fascist seems really irrelevant. Trump is a fascist, and him getting elected makes it obvious that a lot of Americans are completely fine with fascism. If a large swath of Americans didn’t know or care about fascism before, they’re not going to now.
comment in response to post
No, they are some of the worst people among us. Dumb as a fucking brick and that’s before CTE has done its thing. Easy marks for Putin
comment in response to post
Agreed, it seems impossible that there would be a mutually agreeable set of terms and conditions.

It will be fun to watch 🇭🇺 and Orban get steamrolled too. Assuming Europe actually _does_ have the stones to follow through, which it must at this moment in history.
comment in response to post
Exactly. You can’t un-ring the bell on this thanks to Trump.

You’ve so hit the nail on the head. They share the same goals simple as that.

I don’t believe even Putin himself thinks they can take the rest of Ukraine by force. Trump is a delusional idiot and probably thinks they can but again he’s a fool. The only way Russia gets remotely close is with full mobilization, and that is going to bring in a bunch of NATO opponents.
comment in response to post
Such a betrayal. Setting aside for a moment how disgusting Trump is and what his re-election was designed to do (help Russia win), you cant help but look back on the West’s truly missed opportunities to help Ukraine actually defeat Russia. Too much timidity and lack of balls got us here.
