This post from Cavegirl's Game Stuff blog sits in my head last few days: cavegirlgames.blogspot.com/2025/06/deep... Mostly because how sleekly all translated into SF. I can see the implied setting, with archeotech, and psychics, and half-broken netsphere so vividly, I kind of want to do it myself.

Terrible headline, as usual. “Israeli soldiers open fire near aid site killing 27 people,” is more direct. People already know how to run aid sites without killing any of the people coming for aid. It’s a solved problem. What’s terrible is this isn’t even the worst thing happening in Gaza.
