Hilariously I think they might be pouches?? But I am mostly having a conspiracy moment that Toei didn't give him a lot of resources or direction (shocking I know) which led to things being a little wonky because he has some very politely-worded things to say about them in the back of this book pff.

I don't think the angle quite works for it since the zippers cut all the way up the collar. Fun strapless top access idk. The leg piece is maybe some kind of guard?? Idk these designers probably had not suffered trying to make a cosplay from this type of thing.
