The enemy aren't practical jokers ... are they? They're not out the back having a BBQ and left you to it all on your lonesome?!

Thank you. I will admit to being happy with the result. I've had the remaining two battalions in the unpigmented pile for a while now but ...
- I think of lost the original blue used
- and there's still a lot of piping and lace!

Thank you. The picture dates back from 2006! and is perhaps well known to some as it was used as a header photo on various blogs and bit and pieces.

Thank you. And being Prussian it's all my own work excepting the GMB Designs flag. ๐ค

I enjoyed my reading of the Alatriste books. I've watched the confused mish mash of books that is the film Alatriste (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alatriste) and managed to enjoy that. Especially the Rocroi scenes.

An hour in and enjoying it immensely. I'll finish it off whilst walking the dog.
For the record I too enjoy Goulash ... and Stroganoff ... and other related food species.

They're putting you in a commercial washing machine?! Or is it a dryer? ๐ซฃ
Here's to a great outcome.

A wonderful spectacle. Terrain, figures the works.
I can't honestly comment on the players but am happy to accept that they were "great company". Each and every one of them! ๐คฃ

Splendid.
Is that Getafix (hopefully I've got the name right!) of Asterix fame? If so I pity the Romans! ๐ค

Thank you wrgmr1.
If you mean figure selection, choreography and basing then I claim full credit.
I am a slow and erratic painter so whilst I paint my Prussians, Saxons and French Napoleonics I leave the other nations to outsiders. For the Poles it is Nigel Fun-nell.

A VERY nice result. Nice and clean.
An upgrade to a WONDERFUL result as they are the output of a speed painting challenge.

My Napoleonic addiction/career started with the preceeding Napoleonic WargamingGuide(?) with the orange cover.

Think of yourself as a Roman senator from the glory days. Fingers ... throat => stuffed stomach no longer quite so stuffed.

A very nice band. That mix of instruments should be able to create quite a cacophony. Perhaps some sort of fear test for nearby units ... on either side!! ๐คฃ

PS. I've enjoyed tracking the development of this unit.

FWIW and IMHO it strikes me at this particular moment that just some pennants seems like a nice deviation from the norm.

Hello Des
I have already viewed the Lutzen and Borodino videos which partly explains my envy of Iain's and your gaming. Please keep them coming ๐

Thank you historyteachernerd. The variety available in the Calpe Miniatures range was just begging for this battalion IMHO.

Thank you Loachdua. The battalion was something I'd planned for a while and I was happy with the end result.

According to www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/pain... you could try "Steel Legion Drab" ... assuming that colour still exists! The site also provides other options from other manufacturers.
No first hand experience and definitely no money back guarantee!! ๐ค
