The hate in my heart for Donald Trump is not good for me. I'm lucky that I have my grandkids to counter the hate with a greater love. My granddaughter today was sitting on my lap, totally immersed in her book pointing out the bird and the fox to me. This keeps me sane, & fighting for their future.

In my reddish purple hometown there were 700+ protesters and 2 Trump counter protesters. And one pissed-off looking local photojournalist. The 2 police officers stayed across the street and just watched.

I made Vietnamese Chicken Liver Paté today for the first time. It turned out delicious. And went great on the bahn mi sandwiches I made. I forgot one step though and that was to push it through a fine sieve. It was still scrumptious and will be great on bread or crackers too.
