Decarbonising oil isn't a thing. You just leave it in the ground, poof, no carbon in the air. You want to transition AB / SK et al into renewables. The "nation-building" projects aren't about blindly selling O&G outside of Canada while our nation burns. (There are elec batt cargo ships though)
