Dad, geek, role-player, board games. How are YOU doing today? I want to keep this a positive place to hang out, but reality just got so much worse.
I hope & pray it will get better though!

@frankconniff.bsky.social You’re doing the Lord’s work, calling out that BS. But seriously, do yourself a favor & give up the Twitter account!

I’d like to know if filmmakers gave Kevin a role in the new live action Lilo & Stitch movie!

Thank you for this work. It’s the disenfranchisement that knocked so many eligible voters off in Swing States that worries me more.

Oh I grew up on English muffin pizza! This was one of the first recipes I leaned in 3rd or 4th grade! In the days before Boboli.

No worries. Different platform; different vibe.

Screwtape Letters certainly describes a lot of traps that too many Christians fall into. But it’s not like the New Testament doesn’t warn about Pharisee-type behavior.

Are you referring to the end of The Final Battle? The scene with Captain of Tash’s armies (the “evil” god) talking to Aslan? He’s in contrast to that opportunistic Captain who gets killed by Tash.

This right here. Democrats need to use every parliamentary trick in the book, and slow down the destruction of our nation!

It could have been his bit about the 10 Commandments. I haven’t listened to that routine in well over 10 years.

Did that originate with Carlin? I had seen “Don’t Be A Dick” more recently as Wheaton’s Law after a Comic-Con appearance 10+ years ago.

It’s fascinating hearing conservatives explain how that DOESN’T apply to us, but only for that time and that place. Fascinating, in that it is disgusting, as a Christian.

So many moving moments that made me cry

I’m a dad, but I also appreciate other perspectives, being a middle class white guy. Thank you Peter Sohn! Thank you Jono & Alan for revisiting!

Special features about Mr. Sohn’s very personal tale made this film resonate so much more. I *LOVE * Elemental, and I really hope it’s not insulting for Mr. sohn to hear people say they were “surprised” by anything in his movie.

The marketing for Elemental stunk. I was very indifferent going into the movie, but my youngest wanted to see it. I became hooked VERY quickly, when I realized it was an immigrant tale, then a very sweet romance, then about parents and children and SO MUCH MORE! 1/x
