Inevitably will be posting about UK politics or board games. Not a big fan of where the human race has taken the planet at the moment. Trying hard to keep the lights on in dark times.

I think we should just chuck the towel in and sign up to AI living our lives for us. Living and stuff is such tiring work.

It's looking like I'll have to invent my own political party in order to support someone.

They've had enough of experts.

That's ... interesting. Parfum by the same designer had a similar mechanic of waking up early ... to make perfume. Could you have played that one....and become confused.......? (I am at the age where I am mostly confused).

Definitely Fresco.

Indeed. Kids in my class had memorised the numbers of the sex scene pages in all James Herbert novels.

Watership Down (film and book). I feel I still haven't recovered.

Roger that. Also Slugs by Shaun Hutson - similar nasty schlock body horror from around the same time.

You could make a funny video by messing with the subtitles of that about people's takes on top ten WW2 films ......

And it's now just ingrained as a number 'that's good to reduce', like cancer deaths etc. Stripping it of any context as to why it may go up (world crises, wars etc) or whether a higher number is actually a positive for a society with an ageing population or one requiring economic growth.

Although possibly a reach to call 1917 a WW2 film 😀

Surely the German carmakers will be coming over the hill soon to save the day?

Let's also imagine the media's response if Biden had told the American people that they should make do with fewer toys for their children.

I've had this on the shelf of opportunity for ages. Might give it a go given your recommend.

Uxbridge all over again.

I was listening to one about board games yesterday when the 'content' appeared to be reading a list of games and the hosts saying "I don't remember that one".

Also played Time Bomb Evolution - my new fav quick social deduction fix.

Yes - you certainly have to lean into the table talk - which is not for every group.

I'm a sucker for them - but they can be very fragile (when they don't work, they really don't work).

I think the only thing missing is something 'hidden identity'. Could be Timebomb Evolution, Deception: Murder in Hong Kong, The Resistance Avalon or even Nemesis (at a pretty big stretch) - all are great.

And yes I know that is 11 (I'm sneaky like that 😀)

3/3 LAMA - the family 'take anywhere' game. Stockpile - light economic game that is 100% better than Monopoly. Brass Lancashire - for the gamers (and, yes, over Brass Birmingham).

2/3 Lords of Waterdeep - never bettered, light worker placement. Blood Rage - possibly the best '...on a map' game. Patchwork - 2 player perfection. Wizard - the classic trick taker.

1/3 For Sale - 'never fails', filler / party game. Just One - the 'best' coop party game. Ra - the pinnacle of auction games that can be played by (almost) anyone. Modern Art runs it a close second though. The Pursuit of Happiness - no better game for 'telling stories'.

Yep. Every time I've caught a bit of it today it's been "Linda owns a jewellery business in Tamworth and thinks tariffs might actually be good news for her".

Do keep up - it's 25% on 10% divided by the number of penguins on your island.

'all' rather than 'none'?
