Sometimes I encounter a cat that decides that, hey, you, yes you human, it's your lucky day, I've got this door problem here, I need to you to come solve this door for me. Well? You've got thumbs, use them! I rang the doorbell and sneaked off. I hope that's where the cat actually lived.
