Trainee accountant? PWC, KPMG, EY, Deloittes, BDO usually recruit at offices all over the UK. Or banking or HMRC?

You're absolutely right, but I believe his key responsibility is adult social care (not that this makes things any better). It's okay though since we have a 19 year old in charge of children's services.

I think a few counties are in a similar position and are about to find out. Leicestershire has already appointed its cabinet including a 22yo in charge of adult social care and a 19yo in charge of childrens' services. 🤯

BBC's is even more blunt. They've obviously had their orders.

To be honest, anything backed by venture capitalists goes this way ... pet care, care homes, nurseries, NHS services, etc. I had a career working for them extensively and they're generally not the nicest people. Glad to give all that up.

* callus! The dog has a callus. (The vet recommending surgery was callous though).

Also tried to upsell plaque removal for a few hundred extra whilst he was sedated!

Only because an old school vet who'd seen it all before and who had some ethics had been honest did we save £1200. 🤬

Booked him in and dropped him off fearing the worst. 15 minutes later, an external vet who'd been brought in to perform the operation called me and said its a callous and didn't require surgery.

Guess what ... it had traces of blood but didn't stop them concluding that it might be indicative of a tumour. Full biopsy required £1200+

Experienced this a couple of weeks ago with Filbert (pictured below). During his annual health check, I asked the vet about a lump on the elbow of one of his front legs. They recommended a £230 test which, it transpires, often gets contaminated by blood in the sample ...

Wouldn't be surprised if his team started the rumour.

Visited his house and garden last Autumn. Incredible and much larger than I expected.
