I've seen internet culture bleed more and more into the convos of less internet-y people I feel. For better or for worse.

Too woke. "Social" is too close to socialism and "mobility" sounds like disability access. In contrast, "oligarch" is an expensive-sounding word you can really draw out with a mid-atlantic accent.

Pooh's question is legitimate. "Mad honey" produced using the nectar of certain toxic plants is a real thing. In one of their many misadventures, Xenophon's soldiers accidentally consumed it and "lost their senses" for a day.

Watching FilmCriticHulk's analysis of this movie took my appreciation to the next level. Truly a masterclass in economical storytelling. "Simple metaphors to create complex ideas."

And buying used books will raise the price of those used books (supply and demand) nudging future customers toward the new books. In econ I believe the term is "imperfect substitute."

The Minecraft movie has kicked off a bolder, louder era for the theater experience. Going to the movies one day is going to be more like going to a concert or something.
