The collateral damage from these erratic/excessive tariffs is huge & expanding. The working class & small businesses will be the biggest victims. They have limited resources to deal with the monumental impact of escalating prices and soon shortages. These tariffs must END! A horrific mistake!

This will be an economic nuclear attack on the Working-Class. Every aspect of the budget has severe impacts to those that are already in financial distress. Why the cuts? To fund a HUGE $4.6 trillion tax cut for the rich. Why tax cuts for the rich. They don't need it. This is IMMORAL!

Trump has always had disdain for our soldiers. He loves the defense contractors but called fallen soldiers "suckers” and "losers", avoided the draft during Vietnam War and now severely cutting support for Veterans. The working class, not the rich serve/died for America. Veterans deserve better!

It's not just eggs that are priced unequally/unfairly Look at the totality of the working class. 70% living paycheck to paycheck struggling to survive Yet Corporate Profits & stock prices are at RECORD levels. The rich are at decadent levels of wealth while the rest of us are fighting for crumbs!

Fear, intimidation, masks and harassment are the tools of authoritarian rule, NOT democracy Masks are similar to lies. They hide the truth. The Republican regime thrives on lies/hate and division. It's time to create transparency & reward the truth. Embrace science and the intellectual community.

Excessive/erratic worldwide tariffs are destabilizing already vulnerable international financial markets. There tariffs must end to preserve stability and certainty ... required environment for growth and opportunity. Of course, the working class will be mostly harmed by these crazed tariffs!

AI is a "societal time bomb" that will create massive harm especially among the working class. This technology must be heavily regulated to protect the public. Republicans don't want to regulate. They including Trump want to profit from an existential threat to society!

Just realize that there was already an agreement between Iran and America and other leading nations of the world to contain the development of nuclear weapons in Iran. BUT. Trump terminated the Obama deal and created chaos in an already chaotic/dangerous region of the world. Trump is DANGEROUS!

Industries will not set up factories in America based on the erratic actions and temporary nature of these tariffs. They are being challenged in court. And even if they remain in place, the next President could terminate the tariffs on day one of their administration.

While we are being distracted by a series of horrific human rights violation by the Republican Party, another horrific act is now being created in Congress. Republicans are pushing a nuclear attack on the working class that will crush them! It's their BIG, BAD budget bill. This can't be passed!

Or "Trump Troops", or "GOP Gestapo"! Our government workers have been forced to become Trump's personal political police. His private army! CHILLING!

The working class demand Universal Health Care, not a system controlled by either greedy private equity firms or radical nuts who ignore science and embrace voodoo medicine. The issue of individual and public health is critical for any civilized society. Its life or death for the working class!

Have we not learned from our tragic history? CHILLING!

Republican’s “Big Beautiful Bill” is Big and Bad for the working class A nuclear size attack against our working class is quietly advancing in the GOP controlled Congress The effects of this BAD Bill will be immense & permanent as the social/economic safety net is torn to shreds! STOP this Bill!

The US Postal Service is a revered public institution. It's been the face of our government ever since the birth of America with Benjamin Franklin being the first Post Master. It pays a living wage & offers dependable postal service EVERYWHERE! But the GOP wants to destroy it! It must not happen!

The true "emergency" exists for the working class! 70% of America is living paycheck to paycheck with little or no savings. Then the Republicans come in like a rolling earthquake attacking every aspect of society & generating fear of a new tax, inflation, recession or job loss! SOS-USA

The trade war is NOT worth it! It makes ZERO sense. Maybe a dollars worth of benefits in the long term but the economic cost to society is over $10. That is horrible logic or math! The working class want affordable housing, not a trade war/huge tariff tax or a $4.6 trillion tax cut for the rich!
comment in response to post
The trade war will shake the foundation of America and the rest of the world. Again, it's the working class that will be harmed the most with higher prices/inflation, a new tax, recession, job loses Another type of harm to us is the mental stress of NOT knowing what will happen. Total instability!

When Republicans destroy the "American Establishment", what will replace it? Chaos and destruction are not governing tools. Fascist populism is not governing, it only rules with an iron fist with no rights/liberties. As always, during turbulent times, the Working Class suffer the most! SOS-USA

1. Online digital lottery systems? 2. Just another sophisticated high-tech way to extract large sums of money from the working class. 3. Offering vulnerable people an unrealistic dream to make money is abhorrent/immoral but another way our socioeconomic works for a few at the peril of most!

A global 10% tariff tax is NOT good for the working class or for the fragile world financial markets Instability/erratic decisions on trade have shaken the world's economy. The working class is the most vulnerable & will be harmed the most in any trade war. The trade war must END! It's dangerous.

His business thrives on the backs of working-class folks who cannot afford the basics of life and must go into debt. How is that "solid footing" in describing the US economy? The working class is in a crisis! 70% of America live paycheck to paycheck with little savings. Then toss in tariff taxes!

For decades since Reagan, Republicans have attacked government as evil yet it's vital to any wealth creation Workers, government & the business sector create wealth & all are essential and should be respected Republicans/the rich love to reap the rewards of gov. but don't want to pay for it.

Science, research and Universities are the lifeblood of the US economy. The benefit of public funding of research is that it's "open source" easily available to the public and all businesses. The biggest beneficiaries are the working class. More job creation & better health via vital research.

The problem with the Democratic Party is NOT ignoring the working class. They have a vast resume of legislative successes in addressing a wide spectrum of essential working-class issues. The problem is that they have failed to communicate to the masses what they have achieved.

Republicans claim a pot of gold in the long term but that is just gibberish. Working class will not be attracted to "fool's gold". The working class have been suffering for decades & now they will fall off the economic cliff with tariff taxes/severe cuts to their safety net and impending recession.

1. The Trump Trade Tariffs are terrorizing to world stability harming the working class the most. 2. rich will see little effects; they may even benefit. 3. in America were 70% of population lives paycheck to paycheck, higher prices, potential layoffs and recession will be devastating! WHY?

1. Luck, healthy low-cost diet, a living wage & universal health care should be the secret of a long/healthy/happy life for the working-class in America. 2. If you are NOT lucky, your prospects in the USA are dim! 3. This must change. It's time to focus on the working class, not the greedy rich!

The working class, the business community and democracy are served well when we have diverse/independent levers of power in America. The concentration of wealth and political power is an existential threat to any civilized nation. 70% of America live paycheck to paycheck. This is NOT sustainable!

The availability of a wide spectrum of low-price products is essential for the struggling working class in America. Product shortages/inflation and recession are horrific consequences of an erratic and dangerous Tariff policy. A trade war is poison for the working class! It will be devastating!

Trump reaffirms a baseline of 10% worldwide. In essence, he reaffirms a substantial unfair tax on the working class in America. Working class folks pay the tariff tax which is a regressive/unfair tax on them. Realize this tariff tax will subsidize the rich who will get a HUGE $4 Trillion tax cut

Public funding of medical research is essential. 40% of all Medical Research is public sector funds The benefit of public sector funding is that it's "open source" which benefits everyone from businesses to the general public Public sector funding is a valuable investment with massive returns.

When will we learn that we have a demand problem, not just a supply issue. The more we try to restrict supply of drugs, their value goes up and the incentive to sell drugs for profit increases. We MUST deal with the reasons why people take drugs. It starts with Universal Healthcare in America
comment in response to post
40% of all medical research in America is funded by the public sector. This is now under attack by the GOP! Public sector research is "open source" thus everyone benefits both the business sector & the public. Universal Healthcare is essential to spread the benefits to everyone.

The working class need health care based on science via rigorous peer review and documented research from the best universities in America. We don't need healthcare base on whims/internet influencers or the latest conspiracy theory. Good health occurs only when there is Universal Health Care.

Don't trust the message. Wait for the detail. Who benefits from these trade deals negotiated by the Billionaire class/Republican Party? The working class demand good paying jobs, low prices for essentials and a tax system that is fair! Are any of these deals worth the damage to the working class?
