I think perhaps what the right doesn't understand about progressives is that we criticize the country because it never quite lives up to what its promise is. But that we love the country for what that promise is. And we just want the promise to be made real.

I didn't know it was donut day and happened to stop at a Dunkin for a caffeine boost during a long drive. They offered me a free donut and I was happily surprised. My kids split the donut and I enjoyed a meh iced coffee.

If Pardon Boy Tarrio can sue the DOJ, Abrego Garcia should definitely get his day in court. I hope he sues for wrongful imprisonment, defamation of character and anything else his lawyer can throw on the pile.
