Look, I don't want any toast, and he doesn't want any toast. In fact, no one around here wants any toast. Not now, not ever. NO TOAST. How 'bout a muffin?

And it worked too!

I’ve been saying this for years. Basically someoneā€˜s ego gets publicly knocked and theyā€˜re too fragile to take it so double down, with predictable consequences.

Originally championed by @laylamoran.bsky.social I believe.

Oxford is wrong. Used to be Ringo and now accepts half a dozen.

Disgraceful. Glad the culprit was found and the file recovered. Presumably they can’t be named without prejudicing the inquiry. I hope they are prosecuted afterwards.

Disgraceful isn’t it!

One could argue it has already happened with missiles ā€˜accidentally’ striking Poland and much low level disruption such as the DHL fires which could have brought down a freight aircraft. A forceful response is required to such ā€˜tests’.

Presumably they have a magic wand to vanish away the congestion without stopping anyone using their cars?!

Given the state of drinking water in the US I’m not surprised, though it is a monstrous waste.

I saw that too. Nice to have a mention in your old paper, Jim.

Totally. They seem unable to process that ¾ of their precious followers are bots or dead accounts, or that they can’t link to any external media without being down ranked. Vain fools.

ā€œThe Tameness in most cases was rare and very optional! Many found out when their ā€˜tame Zebras’ later attacked them.ā€ I don’t know why but I found that quite funny!

Yes
comment in response to post
Well the picture in your link is captioned ā€œman on tame zebraā€¦ā€ so I guess it depends on the zebra.

European hornets are less likely to sting you than wasps (although if you’ve trapped one in a pint glass I wouldn’t be too sure). Asian (non-native) hornets are bastards tho.

I hope liberal conservatives think hard about whether their party wants them. It doesn’t bode well though; the ones Johnson kicked out floundered around in shock and then left politics.

Ridiculous. Also, delightful that they’ve put up bits of Perspex to top people turning the copper green from pissing on it!

Yes, you can add a &udm=14 plugin which tells Google not to add an AI summary to the search

I once wore trunks (underwear) as trunks (swimwear) because I forgot my swimwear. This meant 1. I had to be very careful getting out and 2. I had to go home commando. Do not recommend.

And what in god’s name is this? Did they forget to pack a dress and have to fashion something from the B&B’s curtains?

I’m a LibDem and quite privacy focused but even I can’t understand why people loose their sh*t over this. Guys, you’re being profiled and tracked multiple times a day on your smart phone or when you go into a shop with facial recognition CCTV. Let’s focus on that!

Ha! We got lost in Milan once as well. Badly photocopied maps of where we were trying to get to and lots of junctions with multiple exits. The coup de grace was nearly getting hit by a tram trying to do a U-turn on a boulevard with central tram tracks! 🤣

Ideally you have a driver and a navigator. That’s why there are two front seats!

Amazing. And of course some idiot Techbro has programmed it to do these things. It would be trivial to make it say that it was unable to retrieve the data but it didn’t. It made stuff up. Presumably to maintain engagement.
