Marco Rubio says that Americans living in Europe shouldn't ever have to face any ramifications for their political speech online. The chutzpah is jaw-dropping, as he is PERSONALLY trying to deport legal immigrants for their political speech in the United States.

The MCLA Gives fundraising campaign is going on right now, and the college is looking to raise $5,000 to help support Institutional Equity and Belonging (IEB) programming such as the Lavender Lecture Series and Day of Dialogue. fundraise.givesmart.com/vf/MCLAGIVES...

as someone whose job is partly closely to follow K-12 education news, I'd just like to say: We used to go for very long periods of time without trans students being in headlines. We don't anymore. The change is not due to the students.

"However, a series of court cases at the state and federal level — including a 2020 case that struck down a panhandling ban in Fall River — have determined that penalizing individuals for asking for money violates the First Amendment." (you don't say.) www.berkshireeagle.com/news/central...

just for the record, I have a zero-tolerance policy towards transphobia and if I see it in my mentions it's an instant block.

Hi, I'm the guy who used to oversee the federal government's agency IT telecommunications contracts. This is extremely bad. There is absolutely no need for this. Not only is it a huge security exposure, but the simplest explanation for this is that it is meant to be a security exposure.

This elderly man showed up to support an anti-trans bill in my home state and then, because he had to wait hours to testify, he was stuck listening to queer folks rally against it By the time it was his turn to speak, he'd changed his mind Never doubt that speaking out can change hearts and minds

Every time I hear anyone bring up that "79% of Americans opposed allowing transgender female athletes to compete in women’s sport", I go back to this West Wing clip. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYNK...

BREAKING: Attorney General Pam Bondi, when not overseeing efforts to dismantle the Justice Department, spent some of her valuable time today focused on what matters, sending a memo to all Department employees on "ENDING PROCUREMENT OF PAPER STRAWS." This is not a joke.

Guy who wants his company to take over the country's air traffic control system: "I'm not very good at cybersecurity."

Greta Thunberg doesn’t have my bank routing information

Montgomery County Public Schools comes out and tells Trump to pound sand with his EO telling schools that they have to discriminate against transgender students. This is how you refuse to comply.

This is an important one that will hit lower-income students the most heavily. A student receiving a big discount from a private institution would be hit with a $6000-ish tax bill each year.

There are a few things I want to bring up regarding the Governor's Budget and Pittsfield’s Chapter 70 aid. Though the increase in aid should give us a "roughly level service" budget with a level funded local contribution, there are still some factors that could impact our budget:

Please join me outside of Seth Moulton’s Peabody Town Hall on Tuesday at 6PM to protest his reprehensible comments regarding the LGBTQ+ community.

I'll support any governor who has the cherry sheets and the DESE spreadsheets go up at the same time as the budget (WHY DOESN'T IT)

The way you can tell AI is going really well is that Google had to force it on everyone with a workspace account and hide the button to turn it off

"Democracy Dies in Darkness" is kinda like "Don't Be Evil" as a slogan. It's a bit worrying when you choose it, but it's a lot more worrying when you take it down
