Just because a large share of Americans are against an issue doesn't mean they would swing their presidential vote just on that one issue. And this stat also doesn't show how well American's are informed about trans rights issues (which is not much).

The local contribution could be increased, stay level funded, or decreased compared to the local contribution approved by the City Council last year (in effect using some of the Chapter 70 funding increase to offset the local contribution).

3. We do not know what our city local contribution is. Though we receive most of our funding through Chapter 70 state aid, we also get money directly from the City. The Mayor and District Administration is starting to have that conversation on what the proposed local contribution will be.

1. There is some level uncertainty with federal funding under the new administration, and it waits to be seen what the new administration is going to do with educational funding (ex. cut Title I funding for schools which would really hurt us, abolishing the Department of Education).
