If you don't know why the military parade may be at least a little heartening to people worried about the President potentially ordering the military to go to war on American soil with Americans, ask any of your left-leaning retired military friends what was really going on.

1. Its amazing how painfully and unhelpfully neutral news reporting is, that even when they're trying to bring something that should be a big deal to life, they avoid anything that even resembles definitive language.

Much as I don't like pondering the concept of the president even attempting to quell the population using the military, it is actually kind of heartening to see how many people showed up for protests to really bring home how hard it would be for him to actually even attempt it in earnest.

Live footage of ICE. Please note the precision and competency.

Thank goodness someone is worried about appeasing young men. Finally, the most underserved demographic gets to dominate the conversation. Can you imagine if young men couldn't envision the world revolving around them and their interests? God I hope people can pick up on the irony in this post.

Every once in a while I think about this (probably unintentional) bit of social commentary from the first live-action Transformers movie, on Barricade, the Decepticon whose alt mode is a police car.

I will dive back into being aware of the hellscape we're rapidly racing twoard, but I needed my D&D session tonight. I don't think I would have held up well if I spent the night doomscrolling instead of throwing fiend tainted elementals at my PCs.

I think I'm going to make a nice, relaxing list of countries that I would most like to invade us. I think I have to go with Canada for #1 just out of sheer irony.

How many layers have to be between you and the people you don't care about before you start worrying about an administration that literally says they get to do whatever they want because they're willing to deploy the threat of force?

Thanks to impeccible timing my ADHD let me forget to go to lunch before afternoon meetings started, diabetes is causing my blood to sugar crash for not eating when I should have, and anxiety is making me want to throw up the food I'm trying to force myself to eat because my blood sugar crashed.

A senators gets escorted from a news conference, representatives and judges arrested for performing oversight, US troops deployed to a major US city with the Secretary of Homeland Security saying its occupied because it voted wrong. I just wish we would get a clear sign things have gone too far.

I guess I'm the problem for not realizing how amazing a job the Democrats are doing and daring to criticize them, because I might suppress the vote more than the federal government's troops. I'm sure this will all be fine with no pushback or effort at all. Sorry, I fucked this up for everyone.

There comes a point where violence in opposition to clearly stated and evidenced tyrany is not immoral. I am not saying what this is in regards to. It could be anything. But it is true. In the purely hypothetical.

They're just literally saying they're there to take over, not even saying its about immigration anymore? That was quick. I hate this. And if this somehow goes to court before full on martial law is declared, the Supreme Court will probably bend over backward to say she didn't just say what she said.

I did not know this was a thing. I'm always interested to see how existing series get adapted to game systems, and its one of those series that's always just barely outside of the big guns that have traditionally gotten attention, like the Wheel of Time.
