Right… except this could threaten availability of vaccines. Or at the least funding for new vaccine development. Not to mention the value of blanket vaccination (see measles/polio.)

(2) More street races, specifically the mile. There is the 5th ave, and Des Moines has one, but let’s do it on a Saturday evening in bar district… add some temporary stands. Make it like the Night of PBs, but more crazy. Absolutely include pyrotechnics. 🔥

I think about this all the time. I’m starting to create a list of things that would actually do it. Here are some ideas: (1) Build a legit track stadium in Chicago. As much as people complain about every major US track event going to Eugene, let’s create a good option.
