Now that you mention it, I honestly never really put two and two together till just now that the War on Drugs was part of the reason it’s seems like psychedelic art just completely vanished from the main stream after the 70s. That’s a shame.

Having to be exposed to people with nothing better to do than complain is my least favorite part of the release hype-cycle. At least Nintendo does mercifully short release windows so we don't have to watch the content mills spiral into wild conspiracy thinking to come up with new content.
