Well that's the fourth suicidal ideation I've had to talk down in 24 hours. Please do Denmother a favor and do the work to love yourselves and each other. It is a lot harder for the Doom to take hold when you do. Gonna go affix my own oxygen mask now. Going offline.

this is the most loaded way of describing representative versus direct democracy imaginable, and even in being loaded it makes a lot of goofy assumptions such as "the best way of representing organizational opinion is to unaccountably delegate that opinion to someone else at Convention"

If you’re taking Covid precautions and got sick, please don’t feel guilty You made the effort. That’s more than most are doing. It’s harder to protect yourself when everyone else is practicing “you do you” eugenics. Masking means transmission stopped with you. You protected others. That’s a win.

Not actually related but I realized why I bristle at the dog talking to wolf comics about "What is the price of your collar?" "I have a warm safe place and food and love." Wolf packs whose territory aren't being run over or destroyed by humans do, too. Your owner is killing us for not submitting.
