Oh wait, I bet they support what Taco Fascist Felon Trump is doing including Corrupt Emperor McChicken Issa of Eastern San Diego County and Corrupt King Chicken Calvert of the Inland Empire. Seriously USA, vote these corrupt clowns out of office. They don't care about you; just money and power.

That is true but unlikely. It would be awesome if Corrupt King Chicken Calvert is fired on June 2, 2026. 2 Calvert supporters, even if you aren't a fan of Democrats, you must admit that Mr. Calvert can't do this forever. You would be doing him a favor by firing him in favor of another GOP person.

*FYI, there are two GOP candidates running including the incumbent GOP candidate. If GOP leaning voters vote to split their votes between the incumbent and the other GOP candidate, and a Democrat comes in third place in the 2026 CA primary, Democrats can say adios to flipping CA-41 blue in 2026.

Good luck getting the Democratic nomination let alone winning the general election in 2026 against Corrupt King Chicken Calvert. FYI, you got plenty of competition on your side and Democrats in CA-41 will have to pick a nominee to take down that man and fast*. ballotpedia.org/California%2...

CA-41, please get rid of that corrupt and callous lickspittle in Congress and replace him with someone who actually cares about CA-41. Heck, Corrupt King Chicken Calvert will not even do town halls with voters in CA-41 (at least the ones who oppose him). That alone should be enough to fire him.

And I bet your opponent Corrupt King Chicken Calvert also supports what Taco Fascist Felon Trump is doing against Los Angeles. Heck, I'll bet that ICE agents will come to Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley to intimidate innocent citizens and your opponent will be cheering them on.

That said, gerrymandering is a problem here in the United States and needs to be reduced as much as possible.
comment in response to
post
True. But, Lindsey Graham represents a state and not a congressional district, so gerrymandering is not a factor here in Senate races. Also, some congressional districts are in deep red areas or deep blue areas (e.g., San Francisco or Chicago) and there is nothing the other party can do about it.

Heck, Annie Andrews could not even beat Nancy Mace. And Nancy Mace's district is a tick bluer than South Carolina. That said, I want to be proven wrong in 2026. South Carolina, please prove me wrong in 2026 and maybe I might visit your state one day.
comment in response to
post
Actually, you cannot blame gerrymandering here. But, you can blame voter suppression and ignorant voters in South Carolina. Unfortunately, I don't think Annie Andrews will defeat Lindsey Graham because South Carolina is slightly redder than the state of Texas and Democrats struggle with winning TX.

Certainly, Corrupt King Chicken Calvert is toast in 2026 assuming if Democrats unite around a strong Democratic candidate. Heck, David Valadao is toast too. Young Kim's and Kevin Kiley's race could go either way in 2026. The rest of the CA GOP members of Congress, I do not see flipping in 2026.

This man is as deranged as the Joker, Green Goblin or Chucky. Congress, please impeach this malevolent man before it is too late.

We seriously need to humiliate these malevolent people in the regime before they destroy our country and maybe even the world.

This man is as deranged as the Joker or Green Goblin or Chucky. He would make a good comic book villain or tv or movie villain.

And the ICE agents, the politicians who support this including Taco Fascist Felon Trump, are villains. Full stop. Sane citizens of Los Angeles and America, keep fighting the good fight. We cannot let the fascists win.

And #FuckTrump and #FuckFascism. My grandfather fought fascists (both Germans and Japanese) in World War 2. If he was alive today, he would be mortified to see what this country is becoming.

Agreed. Heck, no member of Congress should serve more than a decade in Congress (at least 4-5 two year terms in office). Also, Senators should serve no more than 2 terms in office. And Senate terms should be reduced to 4 years instead of 6 years. We need public servants; not kings and queens.

The point is that Democrats in CA-41 should unite around Brandon Riker because he is young, smart, caring and hard working. He is the antithesis of Corrupt King Chicken Calvert and I think he can beat this corrupt man. CA-41 Democrats please unite around Brandon Riker so he can flip CA-41 blue.

6. There is another GOP candidate running in CA-41 besides Corrupt King Chicken Calvert. If the GOP split their votes between both GOP candidates and a Democratic candidate comes in 3rd place in the CA primary, Democrats can say goodbye to flipping CA-41 in 2026. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Un...

4. He has been showing up across the district and sounds very knowledgeable on political issues particularly on the environment/climate change and on the economy. 5. Most of the other Democratic candidates running don't have prior political or government experience (Abel Chavez is the exception).
comment in response to

The Democrats in CA-41 should unite around Brandon Riker ASAP. Why? 1. He lives in CA-41 while other Democratic candidates do not live in CA-41 including Tim Myers. 2. He can raise a lot of money. 3. He has prior political experience (e.g., he was a 2012 Barack Obama campaign staffer).

If I lived in CA-41, I would vote for Brandon Riker in a heartbeat especially when he stood up for David Huerta today, who is the SEIU president and who is currently being detained by the ICE raids. It was an act of courage on Brandon Riker's part.

He is actually considering running for Senator and not Governor. If I were James Talarico, I would have ran for Governor though. But, I respect James decision regardless. www.houstonchronicle.com/politics/art...

This is an example of textbook fascism, and between choosing democracy (good) and fascism(evil), I choose democracy. If this does not motivate America to protest and vote out Trump's lickspittles (including Corrupt King Chicken Calvert) in government in 2026 and beyond, I do not know what will.

See these links here. Democrats in CA-41 need 2 limit the amount of candidates running against Ken Calvert and the other GOP candidate and need 2 unite around a Democratic candidate. Otherwise, say goodbye 2 flipping CA-41 in 2026.

Also, 2 the other Democratic candidates running in CA-41, some of you need 2 drop out. Why? Because Ken Calvert and 1 other GOP candidate are running. If the GOP in CA-41 split their votes around the 2 GOP candidates, and a Democrat comes in 3rd in the primary, say adios 2 flipping CA-41 in 2026.

If I lived in CA-41 again, Brandon Riker is my top choice to become congressman for that action alone. Democratic voters in CA-41, please unite around Brandon Riker and then we can take down Corrupt King Chicken Calvert.

Same here. And I despise the voters who keep voting in Darrell Issa. If the voters did their research on Darrell Issa, they would find out he refuses to do town halls with constituents (at least the ones who oppose him) and that he is a criminal who does not even live in CA-48.

Unfortunately, I think the voters will re-elect her because they are stupid like her. I guess the voters deserve MTG if they keep voting her in. Good luck to Shawn Harris but I doubt he will win in 2026. I am not going to donate to him until he beats MTG. This applies to any Democrat.

Or at least become Independents who lean towards the Democratic Party. My uncle was a Republican and left the party after Charlottesville. He is a registered Independent who leans towards Democrats.

If CA-41 does not flip in 2026, it will flip blue eventually.
comment in response to

The point is that Democrats in CA-41 need to unite around a Democratic candidate to take down that corrupt man and fast or Democrats are shut out of the process in November of 2026. That means some of these Democrats need to drop out and endorse a leading Democratic candidate in that race.

Here is the bad news though: there are two GOP candidates running in CA-41 including Corrupt King Chicken Calvert and if the GOP splits their votes between the two GOP candidates and a Democrat comes in third place in the primary, Democrats can kiss flipping CA-41 goodbye in 2026.

Agreed. Donald Trump and his morally bankrupt GOP are going to do everything to cancel or rig our elections so they can hold on to power. They are that deranged.

I think 2026 will be the year that Corrupt King Chicken Calvert finally loses assuming if Democrats unite around a strong candidate against that corrupt man. Also, keep your eyes on Corona. Corona is a close microcosm of CA-41. When Corona flips blue, CA-41 probably flips blue.

If CA-41 did not have Palm Springs and parts of the Coachella Valley (which are both liberal), CA-41 would be a Safe Red district. This district is slowly getting bluer thanks to demographic changes (e.g., it is getting more diverse and more educated which both favor Democrats). 1/2

“If you truly care about this district, you would be doing town halls with constituents and listening 2 them. Well guess what? Your time in office is coming to an end in 2026. You have 2 options: A. Resign/retire. B. Prepare to be voted out and believe me you will lose in 2026. Your choice.”

Well said. Also, you should do a video for Corrupt King Chicken Calvert. If I were you, I would say to this man, “Let us be honest here, you are not here to represent your district; you are here to get rich and to win re-election even if it means harming your constituents.” 1/2

The last time I talked to him was on Zoom after the 2024 election and he told me, “Leaving Texas for Aurora, Colorado was the best decision of my life. It is not a perfect place but it is much better than living in Texas.”

Completely understand. That said, I have a gay friend from college who is an accountant and lived in Texas for 7 years (summer of 2016 to summer of 2023). He left for Colorado two years ago. His final straw with Texas was the landslide re-election of Greg Abbott over Beto O’Rourke.

Good luck winning in 2026 but it will not be easy winning your district even in a blue wave year. That said, it is better to try and fail than to let a GOP candidate run unopposed. Once again, good luck.
