Sending troops to back Israel would be my nightmare. Gaza has made this a hard line for me. But even beyond that, how many other countries are they currently attacking? Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, now Iran… am I missing any? I don’t know what their end game is, but I hope to god Canada doesn’t back them.

This is the first I’m hearing of this movement. Tons of respect and hope for how it could mount pressure and shift tides. Thank you for doing it and please take good care.

Absolutely! I used to aspire to be a writer as well, but really fell off the wagon a few years back. But reading your message gave me that nudge to try to use my voice, at least for these things of such importance! So thank you again :)

Hey thank you for doing that. You’ve inspired me to get more consistent with my MP writing!

Ooof I relate to this. Sorry this happened to you 😣

I’m a hard no on this. Astronomical price tag to give away more power to the corrupt regime in the US? And of course antagonizing other world powers by drastically increasing militarization of space? This shit is insane, imho.

Good observation Alec. I especially enjoy the line “despite largely glowing review of his time in prison”… glowing review by who? Why are we talking as if there’s anonymous google reviews for people’s prison behaviour?

I know you’re right, though wish it weren’t true! Normally I’d do anything to show up for a good friend, but the risks this time are too much. Also if they decided to search my phone, they would quickly learn my opinions on the Trump regime haha

Well, I have an American friend getting married this year, but I’m a trans person and am sadly rethinking whether I should go. I definitely would not go for any other reason, because of safety and also just out of principle.

The ‘cut 2 regulations for every 1 new one’ is an exact copy paste from Trump in his first term.. (Trump has now moved on to a 10-1 ratio in term 2 as he’s grown even more rabid) I guess PP is back to embracing his diet trump persona?

Agreed! I watched it with my hockey team as a teenager and it made me so angry, especially vin diesel. But then again, I was an arts high school kid, so maybe the wrong demographic 😂

There needs to be so much more outrage about what’s happening in Gaza 💔

And I’m sure they’re going to support guaranteed income for all the people that will lose their jobs to robots? That seems like their style 🙃

America and turkey are taking notes on each other’s methods aren’t they?

Yeah working with the public can be excellent for learning how to talk to all kinds of people.. Especially when it’s in person or on the phone. Online interactions are much more volatile.

Im so sorry, I can only imagine what you guys are going through. The one flicker of hope is that the resistance really seems to be growing, which is a beautiful thing to see.

“Some 60 percent of the country's 20 million people live in the Kafue River basin and rely on the nearly 1,000-mile waterway” Absolutely devastating.

Terrifying. The federal gov has made moves to do the same for people applying for visas to come to the US (rejecting and banning them from the US citing fraud), and I had a sinking feeling they were going to use the same strategy on their own citizens before long :(

Really appreciate you. Seeing your posts always has a grounding effect on me (since way back in the day!) Good luck with whatever project is calling for concrete!
