I shared it not because of it being said by another tail hedges but because of what he is warning about. With my knowledge and gut instincts about Trump, this does not surprise me.

It's always good to hedge your bets. Having access to another country if things go poorly in your current residence is a nice backup plan.

Bloomberg is talking about the deficit. Musk only cut about 10% of what he promised. I agree with all the comments by others on here. His campaign of chaos will have horrible consequences but Musk absolutely failed to move needle on size of deficit

Hopefully once you are thur customs and inside the Schengen area the annoyances will lessen. It is a pain when you try to escape the pain of Trump by going to Europe but the Europeans are annoyed with Trump and they make American tourists lives more difficult.

If the rapist says, I am a good person, over snd over, the cult will believe they are a good person. If I run up the debt but tell you I am paying down the debt, his followers believe he is paying down the debt. Hopefully truth will matter again some day.

Try a lumbar pack. It propels you into a totally new category of crazy non conformist.

With the environment becoming more volatile, it is just one more reason people should be tail hedging.

We adopted an Afghan family with 7 kids. The joy the kids show about things we take for granted just warms my heart and soul. It is horrible that Trump may force them to go back to Afghanistan. We need more Americans to adopt immigrant families. It brings joy to Americans & it helps the immigrants

The challenge now isn’t just teaching how to think critically it’s giving people an immune system strong enough to resist weaponised information before they even realise they’re under attack.

We don’t have perfect countermeasures yet. But like you said: we have to try. Early resilience might be the only way to slow metastasis before it becomes irreversible.

I got involved during the 1st Trump Administration in the resistance and was shocked how quickly misinformation gummed up action on various topics. I backed a group fighting misinformation and trying to get politicians to hold themselves to a standard of truth.

Without society having a grip on facts and truth it is hard to get society to work on our greatest challenges because large numbers just deny them. We need to be able to agree or figure out base line facts on various issues in order to prioritize problems and the effort to solve them.

Jason do you have any thoughts about where effort should be spent to prevent our capital markets and society being adversely impacted by the Trump administration? I am looking for the equivalent of VC or tail hedges - low cost but potentially extremely impactful.

Five million Americans attended the April 5th national protest at 1200 different locations and the goal for April 19th is more than 10 million. Show up if you want to see change in America! www.fiftyfifty.one

With IV elevated it seems like a good time to take profits and slow walk the establishment of new longer term hedges.

The corruption spreads thru out the business world and becomes like a tax on all commerce and the multiples investors are willing to pay for equities decline. This leads to an underperformed society.

We need people who are willing to organize and fight back against the lies and misinformation. If we allow the facists to dominate the news flow society will fall for the flood of lies. The human brain eventually becomes paralyzed by the misinformation.

Stop being so upbeat. I am trying to concentrate on the problem of books about diverse people at the library. We all know that is what our problem is. 😉
