(The irony of course being that Dave Brubeck fans are at least as nerdy as Star Wars fans)

One thing’s for sure, he’s consistently inconsistent.

I hope the Devs ignore this nonsense and just keep making good games. As Pete Buttigieg says, “when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a culture war.”

Of course the downside to missing a parry in CO is less punishing…it’s more of a chance to gain an extra AP.

Huh, that’s interesting. I’m terrible with parrying in Souls games and finding it much easier here. 🤔

Ah, yeah the dodge and parry aren’t QT events, but real-time mechanics as you would see in a real-timegame like Dark Souls or Sekiro. That’s definitely a core part of the gameplay.

History has pesky things like slavery and the Native American holocaust, as well as prominent women, people of color, Stonewall, Japanese internment. Can’t have people learning about *that* stuff, they might get….ideas, and humanize the people we’re supposed to hate.

Love that movie! And it has one of Crispin Glover’s all-time great line readings: “What, do you think this car runs on God’s own methane?”

I don't think so. There's always something otherworldly about Bowie that fits right into the vibe of the show: Jeffries is on some kind of parallel path that intersects here, in the "old Philadelphia office." Bowie brought that eerie energy, despite his terrible Texas accent. 😉
