Exasperated, Milah rubbed her eyes with the tips of her fingers. "Yup, thanks, moogle. I don't know how long i'm gonna be here... maybe i'm trapped here forever... i should get that thing done tomorrow... Maybe it'll earn me citizenship." The moogle happily spun around. "That's the spirit, kupo!"

"oh, hey a moogle! I know you from my world..." "Welcome to the Mog House, kupo! Here, you'll be able to customize your room any way you please! I see you have a voucher for one free stay... I do highly recommend you becoming a citizen of Windurst to fully utilize the residence, kupo."

Milah entered the residence. "Huh... Mog house. could it be?" she thought to herself, thinking of something familiar. She sighed and opened the door to her room. "WELCOME, KUPO!" a moogle shouted from the middle of the room. "Oh, fuck me!" Milah shouted, startled by the small, fuzzy creature.

Milah exited the tower and stretched, overlooking the lake and the bridge that connected to a path towards the residences; the sound of birds splashing the water and birds flying overhead. "Mithra and Tarutaru? This is fucked... But what a beautiful place..."

Milah puffed her cheeks and tightened her lips, then swiped the pass. "Thank you, Kupipi, I look forward to being put to work. I've done my fair share where I'm from." she then walked out of the room. Kupipi pondered as she watched Milah leave with confidence. "Perhaps... she's from the Empire...?"

"I'll tell you what. Come back in the morning, and we'll have a job for you, and we'll arrange a something. I can tell that you're more than capable of handling yourself. In the mean time, take this." She yawned and dropped a pass on the table. "It's a free night's stay in the residence."

"If you're looking for a meeting with the Star Sibyl, youuu are out of luck my friend-wend, because youuuuu don't have an adventurer's certificate!" She chuckled, teasing Milah at this point. She turned her back and thought for a moment and turned back around, shooting her index finger in the air.

Kupipi leaned her head in and dropped her mouth, making a pouty face, her dark brown, button nose scrunching. "Right. We don't really make appointments based on tales." She closed her book and started to pace, her assistant looking on and shaking his head.

"I am Kupipi, the secretary to the-" she chuckles "Higher ups here-were. What is your query?" Milah scrunched her face, confused as to what to say next. "Hey, hi, thank you for your time... I'm looking for the person in charge... You see, I'm not from here... I'm uhhh... It's a long story..."

"Who the fuck does she think she is?" Milah thought to herself "No, don't say nothing. You need this place to find your way back home, stay focused." The Tarutaru lifted her arms up in a sarcastic manner like the priest, "Welcome!" She said in a sing-songy tone "To the Federation of Windurst!"

Milah lightly motioned, as to wave "Thanks, bud." She turned to the chamber entrance. She sighed. She opened the doors and saw Tarutaru, and a distinct red-headed Tarutaru. She looked up and sighed "Oh, great another wannabe adventurer." she said under her breath.

"And if by "Miqo'te, you mean the Mithra, they have a cat-like appearance, just like you! Seeing as you aren't around here, You must see Kupipi, the secretary to the Windurst Government, and you will be further directed. May you walk with the Star Sibyl and the lightaru, my friend."

"Uhhh, n-no... I'm... Not from around here, you see..." Milah said, looking around. "I didn't know Lalafell lived with Miqo'te here..." Puzzled, the priest rested his thumb on his chin."Lalafell? Miqo'te? My child, I've heard of these termy-wormys before. I am a Tarutaru, we are magic users."

Milah slowly stepped forward and looked around, "Whoa... What is this place?" She marveled at it's vast stony structure and a giant pond in the middle of the room. "Ah, wayward adventurer. Have you come to pray for the Star Sibyl this evening?" asked, what Milah thought was a Lalafell priest.

Milah followed the many bridges that connected different paths all around the great lake and around the Heavens Tower, and surrounding houses. "Just stay calm, Milah." she whispered to herself. "The Miqo'te haven't killed you, yet..." She reached the entrance to the tree and stepped inside.

"Well, I guess that giant tree is the Heavens Tower..." she said to herself, taking a deep breath. "Let's get started... Adventurer..."

She exited through a tented area which connected Windurst Woods to Walls and was in awe at a giant tree in the distance. "Thal's balls... This is... Beautiful..." She said to herself, passing another doll guard. She looked around a great lake, as she stepped on to an elevated platform with a bridge.

She followed the northern path and nervously kept her fists balled up close to her chest. She heard the sounds of growling and rustling in bushes from beyond the elevated terrain. She passed by the residential area and noticed a Miqo'te staring at her from behind a tree. "Yup, not creepy at all..."

Nightfall overtook the city and its nightlife started to show as more Miqo'te came out. She did a double take at the fire breather. "Looks like a... Roe, but Roe's don't have tails... Definitely not a Hrothgar... And Lalafell live here?! Ok, I need to find this tower..." Milah headed north.

The guard pulled out a map of Windurst "Jack now showing map!" Milah looked at the map and pondered. "So I go... north.. How will I know what the 'Heaven's Tower' is?" she motioned vaguely with her right hand. "Heaven's Tower sits in the middle of lake! You can't miss it! Please see Kupipi!"

"Allow me to assist you if you are lost! What can Jack do for you?" This guard sounded more clear and less robotic than the first one. "Hi, uhhhh..." Milah still shaking off the cobwebs, just trying to keep it together. "I'm looking for... 'The Heaven's Tower'... I need to know why I'm here..."

Milah looked all around as she made her way through the plaza, seeing a fire breather and a Miqo'te juggling knives. Another automaton guard stood in front of the mountain. Milah approached it; her fingers nervously touching each other. The anxiety is setting in- she's possibly in another dimension.

She followed the western path from the entrance and arrived at a plaza with a giant fountain. A small river ran through the middle of the plaza, which the fountain was able to collect water before flowing out the other side, with two bridges on opposite sides to allow for easy crossing.

"V-Vana'diel?! Altana?!" Milah was left in shock as she had heard these names before, from the Warrior of Light, who claimed to have fought against foes from beyond the rift in Yak T'el. She disconnected herself as she faintly heard the guard repeating itself, as she slowly walked west.

Milah had a look at her surroundings; people stood in a row along an earthy wall, the area surrounded by trees. The ground hard and slightly grassy; very familiar. Milah turned back to the guard "Listen, can you tell me where Hydaelyn I am? Or uhhh..."she snaps her fingers to remember. "Etheirys?"

"Greetings adventurer! -bleep- Welcome to The -bleep- Federation of Windurst! -bleep-" said the doll-like automaton. Milah looked at the guard and waved her hand in front of its face; It stood still. "The... Federation of... Windurst?" She asked herself as others slowly passed her by; staring.

my idea of mixing both ffxiv and ffxi in this project is a fun little concept i think. Eventually Sakura and everyone else will get in on it in Ellie's story

She cautiously walked towards the two automaton guards, each with three wheels with a doll-like apearance. "How interesting..." she thought. "i've never seen such... contraptions before. Wait... I have! The Isle of Val! i AM in Eorzea! They can point me back home!"

Milah turned and headed towards the entrance. She ran her fingers across the stone walls of the tunnel to the entrance. She heard the flames flickering from the torches and felt the heat radiating from the flames. The tunnel was cold, and damp. She saw a light from around the corner; the settlement.

Meanwhile, in Yak T'el... Ellie and Elliot arrived with a research team. They stared in awe at a swirling red vortex in front of them. "Such unstable aether... Are you getting this?" Elliot asked the Lalafell. Ellie turned away from the vortex and choked up.. "Oh, Mil... Where are you?"
