Certainly, the dollar will not get displaced all at once but the primacy of the dollar depends on the political, economic and military stability of the United states, which has taken a big hit recently because of our leaders--this is why people like bitcoin: our leaders can't mess it up.

Given the economic and political instability, money will seek shelter like treasuries. Given that the world has lost lots of confidence in the U.S., I wonder if this is where people seek safety in bitcoin over the dollar. There's just so much happening right now.
