Was I wrong?

I'm sorry, as much as I am enjoying this spat, how can you take seriously someone who spent 100s of millions of dollars electing Trump, then went to work for Trump, left government just days ago praising Trump, and is now calling for Trump's impeachment. Just unserious people.

Today is the day after the Sex Pistols released God Save The Queen. 48 years ago. I can still smell the outrage.

"Forty-seven people were injured. The facts were clear. But the far-right had already written the script."

Until I joined Bluesky I never realised there were so many cats in the world.

If Putin doesn’t watch out, Trump might be forced to go ALL CAPS on him.

It demonstrates just how far this country has sunk into the gutter when the mob’s first concern isn’t the dead, dying or injured in Liverpool - but the ethnicity of the criminal so they can weaponise it to push a racist agenda. It is so fucking shameful. The absolute antithesis of patriotism.

One of the easier and more pleasurable parts of a leader's job is the role of Father of the Nation. Being kind, generous, non partisan, unifying, gracious. All qualities that Trump lacks.

Scandals within The Post Office (TPO) scandal Alan Bates offered 49.2% of his compensation claim. Postmasters bullied to accept less. Public purse to bear cost of £1.8bn+. No contribution from TPO execs, Fujitsu, TPO lawyers, auditors. When will the scandal end? archive.ph/OP10x

25% tax on Apple products while singling out the CEO by name for retribution, 50% tax on European goods, expulsion of foreign students, bill passed with most debt in history, while hosting a dinner for people who gave you $300+ million. All in the last 24 hours. The Golden Age.

If only Harvard had a spare Boeing 747.

The problem is not the winter fuel payment, or pension credit (or the next particular rise in the Ofgem cap). The problem is that the state pension is not enough to live on, so that losing £200 a year can be a calamity. #bbcpm

Today is unfortunately a good reminder of just how depraved many Trump supporters are. It should be the easiest thing in the world to just wish someone well in light of a devastating health diagnosis. That they can't even meet that very low bar says a lot about their character.

Man child who court ordered to complete mandatory retraining to learn how to not exploit cancer charities has question on why a woman with a Doctorate in Education didn’t detect cancer.😑 The fascism is unbearable enough and the sheer stupidity makes it just that much more insufferable.

The circulation of the Daily Express is 120,000 - two Old Traffords on a matchday. Why on earth is its poison amplified on #r4today?

Brexit was a referendum on whether the UK should leave the European Union. The UK has left the European Union. Referendum fulfilled. If the people bleating about "Brexit Betrayal" wanted the Referendum to enshrine their pet policy preferences, they should have included them in the question.

US presidents undergo a health check every year. How good are they? 2024: Biden 'fit for duty' after medical, says doctor www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-u... 2025: Trump in excellent health, says White House doctor www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... #r4today

Bruce Springsteen for president.

Bad mouthing Bruce Springsteen is crossing a red line.

One lesson from volunteering at a Foodbank is that we are indeed an island of strangers. The division is not ethnicity but wealth. Just like I don't know any wealthy landowners our clients don't know people who own their homes or enjoy a regular decent income.
