When my son was about 4, he said something about the planets. I asked if he learned that in preschool. He said “No. Bugs Bunny.” I learned a lot from Looney Toons, too!

My Dad used to be prejudiced, too. I guess it was the era they grew up in. But he was a baseball photographer, and he learned from hanging with the players that they all had the same hopes and dreams, whatever their race. Here,in China after WWII.

Has he ever donated any money to any charity ?

I’ve heard there will be tanks. That will tear up the streets of D.C. , then he will say D.C. is a dump. Parade will cost too much money-wasteful!

They managed to get the puppy killer down there and back quickly for a photo op.

I have had three Golden Retrievers and all have been toy destroyers- de-squeaking and de-stuffing. They usually do it within minutes after getting the toy. Go Gus!

Just my opinion, but I think that partly tucked-in shirt look started in clothing catalogs. They were trying to show the waistband area, or a belt that came with the skirt or pants, so they pulled up the shirt a bit. Then people latched on to it as a “ fashion “ thing. I think it’s silly.

What I don’t get is that rich people in this country got that way by utilizing the benefits of our country. So why do they think they don’t owe the country the taxes they should pay? Taxes should be fair, though. Tax them at 90%, and they will find a way out through loopholes or off shore banks.

Michael Cohen said when dump does the accordion hands you know he’s lying. But then, he lies most of the time! Those hands must be getting tired!

Seriously- ask Dolly Parton to work with you. She gave money for Covid research, and she has given away millions of books to kids in honor of her Dad who couldn’t read. She gets philanthropy!

Thank you ! I love timeline cleanses. Puppies and kittens are good for that, too.

My brother and I had the sugar cube vaccine, too. Our parents were adamant about us getting it because my Mom’s little sister got polio. Mom had read about Sister Kenny’s theories about exercise, so she and her Dad helped her exercise her legs. She walked fine later.

Yes, that is true. I sometimes forget that my Dad would be 110 now, and most of them are gone. I have that book and gained a whole new respect for my parents’ generation from reading it.

My Dad, too. Aren’t there any WWII Veterans in Utah to say something about this?
comment in response to post
I’m certain there are a lot of Veterans like my Dad rolling over in their graves in Arlington and other military cemeteries now. This isn’t what they fought for in WWII.

Did he cheat his way through Wharton?!? I was an art history major and I know more about tariffs than he does.

Last term he had some adults to stop him. Not now! How could he ( as a business school graduate ) not know how tariffs work? Did he cheat his way through college?

My Dad fought in WWII and came home. He always told us that we had to preserve freedom or it could be taken away. I’m sure he and many others are rolling over in their graves at Arlington National Cemetery now. I miss the kind of people his generation produced .😢

I need my Social Security that I paid for, not that I am “entitled”to. Maybe I can camp out on the White House lawn, or at Mar-a-Lago ?Call your representatives 202-224-3121, and the White House! 202-456-1111. Complain constantly!

I agree. I have thought so much about Jimmy Carter lately, and am trying to behave to his standards. It was so easy to get all wrapped up in the hate on Twitter and here. But that isn’t helping at all. I ask myself ‘what would Jimmy do!’

Those people aren’t true Christians. Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter are examples of true Christians, who set a wonderful example of how to lead a true Christian life.

Hope you feel better soon! My son and his whole family are sick today, so it’s only me, my husband and the dog and cats this year for Christmas . Hope Dandy and Spike keep you warm and cozy.
