What do people wearing masks have to hide? Indeed.

Everyone knows that demonstrators carrying American flags are, by definition, always peaceful.

Musk will be forced out of Tesla within the next six months--unless he bribes the Board of Directors--which is entirely possible.

That's nuts!

Promises mean nothing to Trump--ever--but particularly those made by previous administrations.

Good to see Trump treating this "crisis" with the full gravity and attention it deserves. It's doubtful that Trump knows much more than you and I about what is actually happening in California. Everybody knows the real person behind this stunt--President Stephen Miller.

We don't have to go back too far in history to see what happens when a government creates quotas of people that need to be persecuted, with the Soviet Union under Stalin, and Germany under Hitler, being the most infamous examples.

A strategic mistake, but also an inevitable product of Russian arrogance and the Russian Mir, or worldview.

It's only a matter of time before Trump authorizes a bunch of new medals and awards them all to himself. Before we know it, he will look like a North Korean General.

True. There are several that run a close second to Trump.

Once again, for Trump and the Republican party, it's not about principles or the Constitution, it's all about power, and only power.

Reagan called America "a bright light shining upon a hill." In fact, we are just like any other nation. Capable of great things, but also capable of great evil. Our one great advantage? Our diversity. We should embrace it, rather than reject it.

The problem is that the DOJ under Blondi lies. Constantly.

Beautiful! Do you have a longer version of the song? Slava Ukraini!

Source? If true, this is indeed devastating, although it is likely to be tied up in court for years.

This is excellent news, but it also means that Russia is likely to again make threats of nuclear retaliation in order to scare the Trump administration to get it to exert pressure on Ukraine to accept Russia's "peace" terms, because TACO.

Dare I hope that Ukraine is slowly gaining air superiority over certain parts of the front lines? If so, that is huge news.

Correct. I've argued this several times in the past, which only illustrates how our Constitutional system of government with three co-equal branches has failed to function. Congress refuses to do anything, while a majority of the Supreme Court appears ready to anoint a King.

And to a guy who publicly said on Twitter that Trump was all over the Epstein files. We are supposed to trust him with all of our private and sensitive information?

No, they are afraid of Ukraine defending itself, which they label as escalation. Everything Russia does is justified.

Yet, Trump accuses Ukraine of being provocative and threatening the start of WW3. But, when Putin retaliates, he is engaging in reasonable self-defense. 🤔😵‍💫

Uh-huh. In "Animal Farm," wasn't it the horse who switched allegiances as soon as he saw who was in power? Vance is that horse. Or, maybe he is Napoleon, the pig, who goes on to rule the farm. They do share a certain resemblance! 😂

Both egomaniacal, narcissistic, authoritarians. What could possibly go wrong? Additionally, we all know that for Trump, loyalty is a one-way street. Elon will never be able to get back into Trump's good graces again. The question is, will Elon eventually reveal how he helped fix the election?

I agree with Swisher, this truce is temporary. They will both maneuver to try to get a clean shot before they fire away, hoping their own losses will be limited.

Indeed. Complicity and hypocrisy of Western governments usually go together.

Finally, I agree with you about Vance. In the long-term, he may be more dangerous than Trump, because he has both the intelligence, and the backing of his billionaire techbro friends and enough Republicans in Congress to keep the MAGA grift going long after Trump has left the scene.

Brilliant! The U.S. should have thought of that and given money and weapons to Osama bin Laden to use against Islamic State! I'm sure it would have worked out beautifully!

"We let Protestants from all over east Belfast in." And a converted Filipino! LOL. "The Sash," I presume, is some kind of Protestant anthem? Full of remembrances of past bloody battles, probably?

I could say this would all be over if enough Republicans finally decided that enough is enough, and actually impeached the bastard. But then we would be left with J.D. Vance as President.
