One badge in English, one in German,
Still boots step heavy on the vermin.
We say it's different—time has changed,
Yet cages click in ways unchanged.
Children weep behind the wire,
A distant echo, same old fire.
So I ask again with voice and ink—
Do they still rhyme, or do we think?

"Does ICE rhyme clean with Gestapo's name?
Not just in sound, but in the shame?
Uniforms pressed, a flash of light,
Knock at the door in the dead of night.
They say "just laws"—but whose design?
When fear's the border and the line?

"A little help, if you don't mind,
I'm drafting thoughts I can't unwind.
A poem sharp, with teeth and steel—
The kind that cuts because it’s real.

I asked the AI and it gave me a surprising response:
"That's a provocative start, playing with political and emotional resonance. "Does ICE rhyme with Gestapo?" isn't just asking about sound—it’s loaded with metaphor and critique. Challenge authority, expose injustice, or stir public consciousness."

What kills me, is we have no way of knowing if these people are actually Federal agents. These processes that they're using are entirely opaque. They're hiding their identities, and they refuse to show any documentation that they have the authority to do what they're doing.

WTF?!?!?!?!
Where is the LAW (warrant) & ORDER (due process)?
So far:
- Mayor (D) arrested
- House Rep (D) indicted
- Senator (D) handcuffed
- Comptroller (D) arrest
- 2 State Officials (D) attacked & 1 murder with not even a thought & prayer from the WH
Suuure it was Biden weaponizing the DOJ

Landers is right. ICE doesn’t have the authority to arrest a US citizen and yet they did it.
Another step into authoritarianism. We must Resist.

The fact that police chose to check on the one legislator who was ultimately killed—out of many possibilities—feels too precise to be coincidence.
comment in response to

The way events unfolded raises questions about who had information and why specific decisions were made. If authorities suspected lawmakers were being targeted, it would have made sense to check on current legislators first.
That decision to check on a former legislator seems highly specific.

but but ryan we can save money on VA spending, DOGE style, if we have the marines arrest people on the way to the VA to use their benefits

Neither have the Marines that zip tied the individual.
"The Marines are not allowed to use handcuffs or zip ties to detain any individuals. They use an arm hold to escort the person to law enforcement, who will then decide what to do with the individual."
