Don’t forget the National Girls Baseball League that formed 1 year later. Red Grange was the commissioner, and they primarily recruited from the Chicago area girls softball teams. There were a couple of years they outdrew the White Sox!

And my team set the record for most losses last year, despite a taxpayer funded stadium, a billionaire owner, and the 4th largest tv market in MLB. Why? Because they can and still make money!

You realize that the big market owners subsidize the smaller markets, right? That every team is profitable before they sell a ticket?
(Tho the tv revenue has taken a hit.)
