I'd wager a bet it's because noone has "personal homepage" anymore, not to mention the domain as everyone just operates within "handles" yielding control of those to platforms 🤦♂️

Uhm... some less antique browsers (Vivaldi) have slightly better resource management and can auto unload / hibernate tabs to free resources :)
though IMHO this is just a dirty workaround for the underlying problem...

web is just utterly broken... 😵
you could have an bsky app with gazzylion of tabs / views and it could stream whatever but at the very least it wouldn't duplicate everything... browsers wanting to give more security went into sandboxing / per tab proces and...the result is terrible resource wise...

Czasami są jakieś lokalne modyfikacje, ale sporo też zależy co i gdzie jest wydawane a tu już różnie. Poza tym każdy rynek ma swoje preferencje i co gdzie jest popularne.
