Ngl, I thought the text read "POV: you're coomed" and it felt incredibly threatening.

Los Angeles would absolutely collapse without the undocumented immigrants there. And so would the rest of the US. They work damn hard and deserve to be here a lot more than most citizens.

I have one. I've played Wii, PS2, PS1, N64, snes, DS, and GBA games. Oh, and the PC port of ocarina of time if that counts.
Ds games were finicky, and I still can't figure out motion controls for the Wii, but everything else has worked great the first time.
Some PS2 games lag a bit.

Beta blockers, antihistamines, and tricyclic antidepressants.
And when that fails? Probably like an audiobook I've listened to 20 times before in a dark room by myself.

"local and national law enforcement use weapons on citizens, that would constitute a war crime if used in conventional warfare, in response to a peaceful protest."

I balance being encouraging and positive to the people around me by bitching a little bit constantly.

In a way we've been closer to 2050 since 2001. It's only 49 years to 2050, but no matter how long you wait it'll never be 2000 again.

The Republican party is built on hate. They need to pretend like trans people are the bad guys to get idiots to vote for them.

So that's what they mean when they talk about the gay agenda.

I'm sure they'll find some way to blame it on Biden, or China, or the LGBT community.

Not much. But Gatling Gull? Now that's another story.

In addition to the matter of cost, and wages in general, there's also climate change. Why would you have a child just to condemn them to a dying planet?
Maybe the next generation will be fine, and maybe the one after that, but how much more can the planet take?

It's definitely an enemy here! We've already started having days above 38c, and we'll see temps above 49c in the hottest parts of the year.

I had a streak of over 1000 days on duolingo and I dropped it the instant I found out about their usage of AI.

How about we deal with the fact that healthcare is unaffordable in this country? Health care providers and insurance companies seem to be in an arms race to see who can be the most expensive. Why is a single Tylenol at a hospital like $60? Medicaid shouldn't be the only solution here.

I remember people doing the same thing to Rage Against the Machine a few years back, all but proving they've never listened to a single one of their songs.

I'm not your enemy. I've never claimed to be trans, and I certainly don't deny my privilege. I genuinely hope that you get the help you need. If it were within my capabilities to do so, I wouldn't hesitate to help you.

Have you ever considered that the reason no one will hire you isn't because you're trans?
comment in response to

You could! And I would have no right to refute your claim. Nationality is a social construct in the same way that gender is. How should I know what your genetic background is? And by what right should I ask it? You have nothing to prove, and at the end of the day we're all just people.

Are you done?
The evidence isn't because I say so, it's because she says so. People have the right to identify however they wish, and no one has the authority to decide another's opinions.
I don't get to tell you what your opinions on cis people are.

Nor do you have the authority to declare they aren't.

You don't have to prove anything. If you say you're trans, then you're trans.

Being trans doesn't mean you don't hate trans people, and it doesn't make you immune to criticism. But I guess asking people not to buy a single video game is too much to ask in support of the trans community.

It's cool, just say you don't care about trans people.

You can usually check protondb for any game to see how the performance is. Some issues may be specific to the steam deck, but most people say it'll run at around 30-40fps if you set it to potato graphics, with only the occasional crash or missing texture.

It was fun to read as a kid, when the books were coming out, but I'll never buy anything Harry Potter related again. At least until JK is in the ground.
