I still don’t get how Eurovision didn’t ban ****** from competing this year what with the ongoing genocide against 🇵🇸 when they kicked Russia out a couple years ago with no issue what with the war in Ukraine.

I only watched my first one two years ago and have been hooked since. Though I haven’t gone so far as following the individual countries own competitions leading up to it… yet.

I was able to watch at a much lower volume on the SVT site when casting it to my tv compared to the Peacock app. Peacock showed the audio as “English 5.1” like surround sound mixing and it was definitely different to me.

I ended up watching on svtplay.se (thanks @muffinchips.bsky.social) but even with additional, minimal, Swedish commentary, it was a better experience especially with the audio quality and no commercials.

Catching the replay on Peacock (finally done with work and I am off for the final on Saturday) and the audio is once again leaving something to be desired.
It says english 5.1 on the app so I don’t know if its a mixing issue or what but the volume is cranked way beyond my normal listening levels.

I’m worried about the import duties to the US when I order from there again. I picked up some great game stuff i wanted for pretty cheap. Only one ended up smelling smoky but i let it air out for ages and it’s fine now.
The shipping for books though made me decide against added them to my order.

Lately even Wawa and Dunkin have done the trick for me, but its probably the Panera near my job here that does something different cause they don’t do coffee well..
