The trouble is, when the Radio 3 posh girls try to get dahn wit da yoof or generally be more class-inclusive it’s a total cringe. Actually classical music should be classless. Go to an opera in Italy, say in the open air, and the audience is a wide spread of social classes.

Sometimes they are just right. We almost never do the supermarket shop together but one day we did and she pushed forward the baby seat on the trolley to give a platform to line up the items for the hand held scanner. It’s changed my life. She never uses the scanner.
