It's one of my favorites! It's definitely unbalanced, but it's a good fighter to play casually. Easy to chill with some folks and just play some sets and see what wild stuff happens. Tia, Sho and Saizo are pretty OP at times though

nuh-uh, gonna hoard my elixirs until I really screw up a battle 🙃 (I decided to see if I could snag a SW2 on a whim and was victorious so...I'll probably pick this up as well. Never ended up finishing the game originally)

So, seemingly what happened was, switch version was pretty standard but they sped up the car to compensate for lag, or fucked with it to some degree, and now that the bottlenecks are alleviated we get this masterclass of design.

I didn't see much beside watching the trailer once, but I feel like I'll always give them a shot because at least it looks like they had fun making a game and they feel like "video game" video games for lack of a better descriptor.

I have one of those controllers on the way, I'll report back when it starts to work with anything. I imagine steamdeck / linux support will probably be relatively fast.

Just to add onto the pile of answers, that's fairly normal to see. You would either need your TV to zoom/crop or your scaler to have cropping to hide it.
