Just imagining how much money and worry was saved by my parents, aunts, and uncles who could drop their kids off somewhere for two months and not worry about them until the week before school.
That seems so foreign to the scramble we do for camps and childcare.

Republican policies are not popular. Republicans win by cheating (gerrymandering, closing polling places, sending armed intimidation). This tactic is another cheat.

When you say, "cut out of the system," you mean lose support from the electorate. So they lie, join "a" party (like Trump, Adams, Bloomberg), and push those parties right. Play the game means trick people.
