I'm a Mom, a Librarian once and forever, a storyteller, a tree hugger, and a really bad poet. I also read too much and write too little (but I'm working on that!) (she/her)

And the right response to transphobes is *always* to uplift trans voices, as a reminder that we have always been here and we will always be here. So here's another stack of recommendations of trans and nonbinary writers writing amazing, fantastical, magical stories for kids.

The book is bought -- just waiting for the nice mail folks to deliver it! (Book might go nicely with wine, come to think of it)

You'll still be able to read your books with or without an internet connection. The only thing that's changing is you won't be able to download kindle books to your computer and then transfer them to your Kindle with a USB cable. You'll have to connect your Kindle to the 'net to dl a book to it

Where do you live, generally speaking? I'm in the Chicago suburbs, and there are quite a few science fiction and comic conventions that welcome authors.

Conventions! Especially small, local ones, where the guests and vendors are also mostly local.
