I get it. Sometimes it helps to take a step back and try something new, like a different kind of game, or a hobby you haven't tried. Regardless of whether you enjoyed the new thing or not, it helps to give you the energy to revisit your main things.

I wouldn't sweat it. It's mostly people trying to call attention to themselves instead of being normal about your artwork, which sucks to say, as I'm sure some of them *do* actually need help, aren't choosing very good methods for calling for that help.

OOH! Easy! Smack Studio! It's on Steam for $15, you get a pixel art editor with a really unique 3D rig system, which you can use to make custom characters and stages! It's an enjoyable fighting game, and a great avenue to network with other creatives!
