I'd sign up for that!

Because all sexes produce androgens and estrogens, testosterone and aromatase (which turns testosterone into estradiol)! We just produce varying amounts that aren't always even tied to what reproductive organs we have. And some unfortunate people DON'T and then need supplemental HRT.

I hope you wake up in less pain 🫂

I've also put more effort into picking up actual songs on the guitar with 'Hotel California' (which means really working on F so I can play it fast enough to go chord to chord instead of taking ten seconds to line my damn fingers up).

I tried 'Killing in the Name' (because 'Birthmark' shares a similar bit, and it kept making me think of Rage) but it gets too complicated too fast, lol.

So far, I've got 'Seven Nation Army' down pat (it was the first I picked because it was easily recognizable, but that translated to super easy, too), 'Ariels' by System of a Down decently well, and I've started trying to learn 'Birthmark' by Deftones and 'Creep' (Radiohead).

I just saw when I was going through the print options that cream is suggested for fiction when I was picking it because it feels better to look at. Didn't know I was supposed to have a strong opinion on the color of the paper I read. I DO set my EREADER app to cream?

Is there something he can reciprocate with that you don't like doing? Chore exchange? Otherwise, maybe a polite sign near the sink?

Unfortunately, yes. Unpredictable, doesn't really show you the people you follow, algorithm does learn well, which means bigots get to see loooots of their favorite subjects... to hate on. I'm still hoping it'll work for marketing, but that WILL require using it more. Bleh.

Oh, yeah, that makes no sense at all!

I only do that when I post something that's likely to attract bigots. Not that I've done it HERE since Bsky hasn't hurt me as long as I don't interact outside my direct circle. Threads is a lawless wasteland, though.

Right? I've got 3 (one is for my family, and I need to add 2 more stars since it only reps 2 of 4 kids), and my last was in 2011. I want to eventually get a sleeve on that arm with several of the ideas. But I want a tattoo for each book series I put out, too.

I've got, like, 8 tattoos planned 🤣 But the first is a song quote I scheduled in 2015 that I had to put off because I got pregnant with my last baby. By the time I was ready to try to get it again, along came COVID and a lack of shops who would take an expired ID. I've been drawing it on for years.

It's one of the things I'm most looking forward to once I'm finally able to get an ID! It's been toooo long!

These don't last the longest. Maybe a year and a half. Of course, I'm saying that as someone who uses mine several hours a day between writing, digital art, and gaming. Still, I know most of my Logitechs lasted longer. It was only this last one that died even faster.

One that I forgot doesn't support wheel tilt-click, but it's so comfy, I don't care enough to try to find one with it. It still has the gamer buttons. It's a cheap generic model my oldest prefers, too. It's a TECKNET.

I'm not gonna make that mistake with my new series, but I'll be on D2D from the getgo there. I feel like something got borked in the move. The digital movers dinged the couch and want me to fix it, lol.
comment in response to post
I went through this for months before I lost my left click entirely and had to break down and buy a new one last week! I feel you! (I also have to get a big one that fits in my hand just right without pissing off my arthritis, so my options are limited)

LGBTQIA and found family will both be on my trope map when I get to that stage! (I'm going to make it a little closer to the release date--it intimidates me, lol)

I have a duplication issue (I didn't have Kobo turned off on the Draft 2 Digital distribution after migrating from Smashwords, but I prefer to upload to Kobo directly--and I can't fix it due to an epub code issue), but here's my series! Just click on the wider covers. www.kobo.com/us/en/series...

🫂💙 I didn't want to be furry, but just like first puberty wrecked me, I knew I wouldn't get a choice, so I actively worked to accept myself coming out the other side with everything I DIDN'T want, and it for sure helped! I even get gender euphoria despite wanting to wax it off 🤣

That is a terrible way to wake up, and I'm sorry you have to deal with that.

Owning it? I still don't feel like I'm entirely allowed to. I want to own it like a fruity gay guy. But I look more like a little bear 😅 I feel like... I'm not welcome in either space and nothing I ever do will change that.
comment in response to post
That's such a hard question. Like, I'm not even sure. Do you mean as a definition or in being allowed to own it? I don't know if I can define it. It's a feeling. A sense of physical shapes, of scents, of space filled. A feeling of my voice in my chest, my throat. A song inside.
