I originally made this graphic in 2022, and I had to update it because I just realized I'm demiro this year. But I have been deconstructing all of this since around 2015, so that's... holy, shit, I came out as nonbinary about 10 years ago.
And I started with just 'nonbinary, maybe bigender' & now ☝️

I jokingly called it my "Flag of flags."

To be fair, the progress pride flag is, like, a free space 😆
But yeah, that whole genderflux thing (subset of fluid) plus the genders under it. Heck, I could have included genderfaun and fictosexual, but nine is enough, right? XD

My brain instantly started playing Picard's speech from Star Trek: TNG: "The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth."
^I'm a big fan of truth being a core tenant.

Love the imagery!

Okay, but it happens in the series AND it's penned by a queer author.
You're good.

I read historical romance exclusively in high school, and the ones I picked were ALWAYS edgy. Some even had lover jumping (the Anne Bonny one, iirch). But they had HEAs/HFNs, which was the most important part of romance!

I spent way too long both making this photo (really just cutting Mordin out) and on the description for a joke 🤣

Mine, too! I'm a huge fan of hadrosaurs, and I've been team edmontosaurus for quite some time, but when it comes down to it, parasaurolophus has landed as my fave!

Ahh, it's deceptive! You see, the flag it's resting on is one of those handheld ones the size of a postcard.

I meant to add "before the month was over" but I was supposed to be going to bed 😅

I found it! It's 'edit theme,' which intimidated me the first time I opened it. Silly me. Thank you so much ♥♥♥

It honestly, never occurred to me to do stuff like this via mobile 😅 Apparently, I need to look harder because I couldn't find a way to affect the background, only add photos to the page.
Thank you!

Hey, did you have to request custom CSS to get your colorful background?

Human coded spellchecks and dictionaries, etc. all worked great. Injected AI into them has torn apart their functionality.

I actually DID go to yours for inspiration after whining! 🤣

Part of posting was the hope that it would push me to try again, and it worked--a bit! I'm done creating a book (I used the back cover as a background since it's already distraction-free and centered the regular cover over it).
It's my PROFILE I don't know what to do with, it turns out T_T

I just reread what you wrote (I'm clearly a bit too tired, sorry!). It's the new graphics I'm whining about. I've made so many for so many platforms that I'm just burned out on the marketing side of things, I think.

Really? I did not find it intuitive at all. Everything I've looked at, I have to make all new graphics, a new cover per book to fit their size requirements, etc.
It's that it's been so successful for so many authors that makes me want to try, but the setup...

My relationship with this song is wild. I HATED it when it came out. People sang it everywhere, at the slightest prompt. The hatred grew.
I thought it any time I looked at peaches. I started singing it spitefully. I started singing it habitually. 20 years later, I no longer hate the song. At all. 🍑
