It's a pleasure to meet you as well! And yeah, so many of our interests align. :)
Also! I just checked out your Youtube channel, and while I'm not a League/Epoch player, your videos are really well done. Absolutely deserving of more views.

A Black Cauldron/Book of Three reference? ❤️
That was one of my favorite books growing up. Loved Eilonwy. And strangely Fflewddur (who for some reason has a really thick southern accent in my head)
Thanks for reminding me. And for sharing a memory of a loved pet.

I've also heard there's a bug where Cybertrucks have some sort of magnetism towards eggs, full cups of coffee, rocks, and lots more.
I think normal non-Cybertruck people are entitled to compensation for having these items ripped from our hands and hurtled at the vehicles.

I have my kettle turn on as part of a "Good morning" automation. By the time I've put in contacts, hair stuff, fed the dog, etc, the kettle temp has dropped to about 180(f).
I then pour that into my Aeropress(or french press), stir it up, and give it a minute or three.
Temp is 👍

I follow you and a couple of other women doing tech content on TT. The misogyny in your comments is insane.

And chances are high that the next update requires you to run that github script again.
Modern Windows is a total mess. I simply do not understand how anyone can defend what's happening to it.
I get that Windows is a requirement for some people - but defending the shenanigans?! Pure silliness.

Those early MMO's were just so magical. "That's a real person who just ran by me! Doing their own thing"
It would be fun to replay some of these games with a focus on not looking up boss strategies, failing often, and building friendships.

IMO, the firing of Joy Reid and crew was really the last straw.
Media chose a side. They can try to pretend by having a panel show or two with dissenting opinions, but that's pretty much just gaslighting.
They're scared. And fear causes bad decisions. They'll do *anything* to remain relevant.

I think you're probably right about kids seeing their parents.
I get similarly frustrated by the Boomers. Draft card burning, bra burning, Woodstock, Civil rights, Kent State, LSD...
10 Years later, in ~1980 - "Fuck it, let's snort some coke and all buy sailboats and write songs about sailing."

So many of our GenX peers are such an embarrassment.
Mutually Assured Destruction, Iran-Contra, Reaganomics, Oliver North, AIDS, LA Riots...
And some of us learned nothing from that. We were the punk, goth, rap generation. Counter-culture was the fucking point. "Fight the power"?
Traitors.

I think they're trying to create their own fan theory lottery tickets.
One of these kooks posting word-salad theories is going to be somewhat close. "See guys? I'm smort!"
It will be the validation they're not getting elsewhere in life.

Yeah, we taught our kid that swear words are fine as long as you're not using them to hurt people. And some people (their grandparents) preferred less of that kind of speech.
It was never an issue.
If you don't make it taboo, kids can very easily pick up on when it's okay and when it isn't.

Kudos to you and Pirate for creating a monster that I will think about for the rest of my life.

We're approaching an hour and I'm getting worried.
Check around the kitchen for a tiny witch in a checkered spidersilk dress. Her true name is Calliope and you'll usually find her near sugary things.
She'll trade pieces of reality for dried flowers.
Good luck!

This is a long shot, but I think the only thing that might work are hand made room scents and perfumes. You're going to want the exceptionally good stuff. And these are really hard to come by.
There may be some incantations you can do, but only by a published author. Also difficult to find.

No one escapes those unscathed. It's a virus wonderland.
You're going to want to get checked for Hepatitis K. Known to come from the ball pit.
You may also notice a ringing in your nose. Don't answer it. *Especially* if you touched one of the skee-balls.

Emphasis on the "her" part.
America just doesn't want to have a woman in power.
No one bats an eye to (re)elect a random old doughy white man. But a woman ... "Well, we have some serious reservations about how a woman would act in XYZ situations"

We're still coming to terms with the reality that this is happening to *us* right now. It's only ever something we've seen happen elsewhere.
So, most Americans are only familiar with sending "thoughts and prayers to those affected". They've never exercised any other skills.
No help is coming.

It was a proxy election for empathy. And empathy lost.
I'm going to be processing my feelings on this likely for the rest of my life.
I've always been an optimist for humanity. Kind of a "People will almost always do the right thing."
I'm not so sure anymore....about a lot of things.

Idiocracy nailed the Dem vs. Rep ideology in the first few minutes of that movie. Where the couple was more-or-less "Kids? In this economy? No, sorry, we're rational people who make informed decisions...". Cut to the trailer park scene...
It's tweed coats vs hockey jerseys.

Whimsy has become such a scarce resource these days.
I used to get 5 or more whimsies a week. Now I'm lucky to get 1 or 2.
And I'm pretty sure that the whimsies I *do* get are smaller. They certainly don't seem to last as long. Shrinkflation has hit the whimsy market, it appears.

It's just more misogyny. Same as it ever was.
"Did you think that that was the start of a *movement*? Go back to your secretaries desk and stare at that 1970's "NOW" sticker that your mom gave you."
"Let the big boys handle the grownup stuff."

Nothing better than giving Judy a little smooch - and then taking the bike the long way through the city and out to the outskirts to get into some Nomad shenanigans with Panam.
Love the motorcycle on those long stretches outside the city.

They have a predatory licensing agreements for their products. It's very easy to find yourself paying far, far more than expected. You will get legal documents and compliance officers at your business with a magnifying glass looking for *anything* they can tack on.

It was just Sports Teams to them.
Red vs Blue.
Black vs White.
People who look like them vs people who don't.
Why go read? When the goal for them was nothing more than rooting for their home team? And laughing at the losers.
There would be no *actual* consequences. Right? Right?!
