Retired safety professional, Eisenhower Republican (which is to say NOT a Republican — or Democrat — at all). Ain't no cavalry comin'. From now on, we're each on our own, and Alferd E. Packer awaits us in the wilderness.

Nah. The hospitals won't fold until after the midterms, when the Democrats are in charge, and Republicans will blame them. The rubes will believe 'em and vote them back in. And the Dems don't have the foresight to shout "Don't blame us!" NOW.

Cutting health insurance on the poor doesn't mean they won't get healthcare, it means they won't get preventative care, so they'll be sicker when they finally go to the emergency room, which MUST provide care. But the hospital won't get paid, so it'll go under. Eventually, we ALL pay for that.

Zip ties on their hands. I guess the fucking cowards in blue are afraid they're going to jump up out of their wheelchairs and attack them.

Every Scandinavian country has a democratic socialist government. Maybe they don't call it that, but it is.

D.E.I. = Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (Equity ≠ equality. It means justice and fairness.). The opposite of D.E.I. promoted by Republicans, is Uniformity, Inequity and Exclusion.

Merriam-Webster: Socialism. Egalitarian economic and political theories or movements advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods. Republicans hate the "egalitarian" part.

By NOT being a criminal? P.S. "Socialism" and "democratic socialist" are very different things. Stop using the Republican definition, which is that anything that benefits people instead of the wealthy is 1. "Socialism," and 2. therefore bad.

"I did not suggest that there would be any need to consider ignoring court orders…" Unsaid: "It wasn't a fuckin' 'suggestion,' I told 'em to fucking DO IT."

🤣 Vote Republican! You'll Get Over It!

“Out of control” implies that they were ever under control on the first place.

Wait…New Yorkers don’t like candidates with a history of sexual abuse?!

Nah. Fucking’s moment is long past — unless we count buggery.

Can't wait for the midterms: "Vote Republican — You'll Get Over It!"

Sure, let's put one in the garage.

When he says he's a "stable genius," he means he knows how horseshit is created.

That's one way to bring down the crime rate: Cut the number of reported crimes.

Farmers are complaining that they have no field hands because of ICE. Won't be long before they have no fields because of heat or fire.

P.S. Thanks for the snarky meme.

I didn't, colloquially or otherwise, mention either "the left" or "the center," the OP did. You're VERY right that "the center" is further right than ANYONE admits. It's a racist, misogynist nation, to varying degree. The "old boys" just want to pay back what's thought to be owed.

He NEVER worked for the U.S. government. He was on the federal payroll, but actually worked for Peter Thiel. Ya gotta dance with them what brung ya.

Centrism has nothing to do with it. "Old boy" and "it's his/her turn," networking does. Lots of criminals, left and right, get elected, many after multiple terms, and more than a few aren't kicked out of office after getting caught doing something .

That last sentence, in all caps, just screamed, "Waaaaahhhh! I'm the PRESIDENT! You HAVE TO LISTEN TO ME! Waaaahh! This is at least the second time he's done that in a week or so.

“They don’t know what the fuck they’re doing.” Every accusation is a confession.

"That's not actually the question before us." That's actually the question that was just put before you!

We've seen how they make the sausage. The wurst is yet to come. Forget about Project 2025. The stuff the Heritage Foundation left out of it will drop the veil next time.

Don't blame me! I haven't voted for a Republican since the Dixiecrats left the Dems (because fuck voting rights and the Great Society) and joined THEM.
comment in response to post
Next thing you know, they'll be wringing their hands — which, if left to completion, leads to writing strongly-worded letters!

How 'bout an opportunity to face an immigration judge? How bout an opportunity to prove they're actually legal citizens of the U.S. or are here awaiting a hearing on an asylum claim? How 'bout an opportunity to face the accuser who says they're murderers, rapists, or guilty of 34 felonies?

I can't say it enough: It ain't just Trump! It's the entire Republican Party, the Federalist Society (particularly Leonard Leo), Heritage Foundation and the "PayPal Mafia".

Fun fact, orangeman: Putin buys oil from Iran. Putin buys drones from Iran — the drones he uses against the Ukrainians. Iran wants to trade oil and drones for nukes. Iran can smuggle drones into the U.S. Another mess you've gotten us into, asshole.

Regime change works in mysterious, reciprocal ways. Maybe the Iranians will do what Congress will not.

Most Dems have wet fingers in the air, wondering where the wind blows, eyes on polls, ears on focus groups, minds on the mid-terms — their employment, not their employers, us.

Maybe moving out of the World Trade Center fir a start.

17 miles of Mediterranean beachfront! I bet Hamas offered less than half that!

Or Iran can tell Putin his next oil purchases must be paid for in nuclear warheads.

Yet another reason I’m no longer a Democrat (or Republican)

This time, Dear Leader attacks Iran only partly to show how tough (and relevant) he is, but to distract us from all his other attacks on the Constitution.

Fellator wants back in to Castle Numbskull (obscure references, but ya can't blame a guy for tryin').

The last person he listened to (the basis of ALL his decisions) was Bibi, who flattered him and told him Israeli intelligence was the best in the world, and they say the Iranians are working on a bomb, and "thanks for tanking Obama's successful JPCOA in your first term. Kushner sends his regards."

SCOTUS supported the separation of church and state? I'm flabbergasted. And it ain't easy, these days, to gast my flabber.

Lots of progressives do, Rick. And it's not at all the range where the deer and the antelope play. Discouraging words are flying fast and thick.

The suggestion that John Roberts is the least bit regretful of the destruction of liberty or Lady Liberty's inscription is laughable. Roberts and the conservative "justices" are members or allies of Opus Dei, as are many in the Heritage Foundation. They are Xtian theocrats.

Darby's brotherhood was based in Anglicanism, and the King James Version, itself flawed. He likely hadn't been schooled in the languages (and comparisons) of the earliest versions or their scribal corruptions or the fervent wishes of King James.

I recall an interview of some guy who, as a child, returning from the fields, found that his mother wasn't at home. Terrified, he ran to his neighbors', wondering what would become of him, since his mother had obviously been "raptured up."
