I read this over and over again. But I still don't get it... Doesn't financial aid go to the schools, not individuals? If it went to people, this scan would have been popular before. Are the schools creating fake students?

Doesn't everyone need an AI husband?

Are you using balanced billing? If you have a daily meter reading via smart meter that's the only reason I can imagine you are seeing estimates at all.
comment in response to post
The estimate is recalculated yearly, usually in the summer or late fall ahead of the heating season. There is a big push to go to smart meters and big customers get daily usage data. It's not a bad idea to declare equipment changes, but I don't know how that works.

I'm currently working for a gas company writing software that does this billing. You're overthinking how it works. Each customer has two numbers: base usage and then additional use per temperature decrease. That's it.

Every time I recommend a musical, I get a without-fail chorus of "I don't like musicals. Will I like this?" I DON'T KNOW, people. It's your blind spot, not mine. Maybe don't hold any single work of art to the standard of magically curing you of your distaste for an entire unbelievably rich genre?

Well, at least they dance!

That's it exactly. SunOS used to default to more. Most users needed to switch it to less so you could scroll back up. I carry for files from that dark time. But I think I also set some less command line switches

Hey! Hey! Hey! We Linux people aren't like that at all! But seriously you should be running Linux instead of Windows or Mac OS. I can point you to several blogs and resources to get .. oh. Oh, yeah. Maybe you have a point

I recommend "The Murmer of Bees" by Sofía Segovia. It's a little more modern... From 2015.

What are you doing with all these pictures?

If you are on Android -- and you still want to access X for some reason -- you can install AeroWitter to remove ads. Decide for yourself if the app is safe and/or ethical.

Are you looking for yearly update packs?

Or, you know, don't.

All I can think of is this top gear episode when the team made an electric car youtu.be/i-OlOP0BQ_U?...

I tend to hope that my OS manages most of this for me these days. But it's good to know what's happening under the covers. I would add the `whereis` and `which` commands to list likely places for a binary and to find the binary that will be used.

I came to reply to this post with a link to kagi, but you beat me to it. I haven't subscribed yet, but the first 100 searches are free. Give it a try, it's amazing to get such great results again.

Okay. Then I have sometimes lost electricity but I have never lost gas. When the power is out I often still want to cook or have hot water available. But my next stove will likely be induction.
comment in response to post
Really? I think it comes down to: price of change (need new pans, may need new outlet installed or upgrade house amps, cooktops are more expensive, not sure if quality/repairability) and maybe learning a new cooking style (can't lift pans off stovetop)

I hate to bring this up, but is there an issue with yt-dlp? github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp

On the plus side, now you have a microwave you can do science experiments with. Try the plasma grape experiment!

I took the easy way out and just upgraded the enclosure from 2-3TB disks to 4 -9TB drives.... And then copied from the old to the new.

The article isn't about AOC?

Try "A History of the Jews" by Paul Johnson. It was written a while ago, but it has a nice overview. Another great book on the subject is "Jewish Wisdom" by Rabbi Joseph Telushkin.

I just got a Mac for the first time and encountered this immediately when I plugged in an external mouse. Install the scroll reverser app. pilotmoon.com/scrollrevers... It's stupid, but it works perfectly.

Maybe? These were the articles I was reading then: www.propublica.org/article/how-... and www.nytimes.com/2020/04/01/u...

Oh! I remember what happened next! It turned out the stockpile hadn't been maintained, so everything was expired and unusable.
