I m not sure the exact issue in your case but here is a list wich can cause it.
1 VPN issue.
2 Install or Update Visual C++
3 Antivirus
4 Re-download the game maybe something got corrupted.

How did you try to connect? you should not need to edit the port(SSL port).
You need to use Lovense Remote - Game Mode - Enable LAN - Fill out your local IP in the game and connect.
