Don’t know about Marines, but was Army Infantry, and you would not end up with just three guys. Typically an entire barracks floor rolled out.

Loved my fellow vets showing up to protest it yesterday.

To be fair, they might have limited participation. They had rules for military in the stands. And it was hot and humid, in my day we hated marching in that.

Yes he did, he asked Esper if they could have the soldiers shoot BLM protesters in the leg. I was saying he tried to have this stupid parade last go around

Trump is a traitor, the oath we all take is to the Constitution.

No, he wanted this the first time around and now he intends to get it. It is him trying to out do Putin in some kind of totalitarian dick measuring. Look up the requirements to be in it. Loyalty, fit, not broken, able to not drink for hours.

No, we are not. I served, my grandfather served, my uncle served, my step father, my closest friends are from that time. Some came home very broken from Iraq, a war I still disagree with. Yes, a number of Vets are confused, but most of us understand our oath, and we honor it.

I was in the Army, many years ago. We had the A2 Bradley's. I lack the vocabulary to express the levels of disgust I feel at the very idea of parading units saluting the Tangerine Mussolini in DC as if this was Hanoi or Moscow. Patton would kick his ass.

Yeah, I watched it all growing up in the 80's and 90's. Never got into Voyager and missed most of DS9. Family had me rip almost all of it onto my Plex Box. Just got TOS on BD.

I tend to say I am a recovering Christian. This does not mean I don't believe in God/s. It means that if he/she/it does, I disagree with how things are being run and will excessive my free will to not worship someone/thing that allows innocents to suffer. Can we incorporate that in Gov?

I only learned about it a couple years ago. I love history, but in class the early 20th century history and late 19th century go San Juan Hill, Brits invent concentration camps, US occupies the Philippines, WW1, roaring 20’s, Depression, WW2, Cold War, we go the Moon!

I am still having trouble with two things. First, the birth rate is so low we may have to cut benefits and pay people to have children. So, why are we deporting people? There is not enough tax revenue coming in, immigrants pay taxes.

My grandfather has always been what I thought a man should be. WW2 vet, retired Air Force, worked hard to provide for his family, honest, and took in my aunt and three cousins without complaint. Spent a lot of time with him growing up, he never once raised his voice. I hope I am close to that.
