I think it's really neat to be able to interact with published writers and artists. Thank you for all your advice! Also just to read so many interesting posts on so many subjects. I'm enjoying my time on bluesky!

When I was in my 20's I wrote a fiction book. I had an agency read it and show me areas to fix. They liked how far I'd come in my writing and suggested I set it aside and start a new one. Life happened though. But last night I spent an hour just writing. Will it go anywhere who knows.

I've been working on losing weight for a year and a half. Gave up soda and watched portion sizes. Didn't think I was getting anywhere until the last 2 weeks. Down from a 4X top to 1X (and XL) and from only stretch pants/shorts to size 22 jean shorts. Still going!
