A note on Trump's tariffs: Raw materials like coffee or maple syrup are only a fraction of an item's sale price. Also Colombia is not the only producer: Ethiopia, Jamaica and Brazil also sell coffee. Do not let your dislike of Trump blind you to corporate price gouging.

Illinois was at the center of the cold airmass last night. The below-zero readings were common within 100 miles of the border with Crawfordsville, Indiana the coldest at -14. I think Lafayette was next at -8.

Warmest spot in Canada: Calgary AB at 49.8 F. Locally, it is 1 F at Purdue. We are in a local cold zone roughly between US 24, I 55, I 70 and US 421. Northern Illinois and Wisconsin are a bit warmer.
