Alaskan here. It can be tough living, but that extreme level of light vs dark only happens further up in the north. A lot, lot fewer people live that far up! It's nice to see my home being talked about.

The thing I've learned is everyone's experiences tend to differ. My dad never had luck with anything but macs, and I've never had luck with anything but PCs. Laptops are great for portability but if you only use those, you're ultimately gonna hit a ceiling. And they're expeeensive.
