Two people speaking to each other in person is twice as annoying but nobody complains about that.

20 years ago when my sister died, one of my students brought me a stuffed animal chicken. I said, ‘Theo, why a chicken?’ He said, “It’s black, Miss Kate. It’s obviously a grieving chicken”. I still have it.

I have the same problem with my Brazilian neighbors’ barbecues. I’m thinking of just showing up.

I’m a fever fan but seeing Reese make the three was fun. If she can get that going, she is going to be even more of a force.

I feel the same about the people who talk to each at coffee shops. I have to hear both sides of the conversation which is way worse.

My nephew had heart surgery when he was two. I overheard him when he was three telling some other boys that he got his scar in a knife fight. I’m glad you all made it through the day.

My brain does the most ridiculous thing whenever I read that statement. I fully believe it but my brain insists on spitting out that childhood advertisement “Brown eggs are local eggs and local eggs are best” It will not stop.
